I confessed so many secrets in my senseless sleep; to you,
I avenge my angels back to a safe haven; white lies made blue,
Bittersweet tasting of your honest dreams,
you and I, a tequila wasted sanctuary,
A clueless whisper, three reckless words,
Moonlight turns to shadows, and it slowly hurts.

It was the first of September, I clearly remember,
Like it was the first page of my favorite book,
You said three words, and it slowly hurt,
And before I could even speak, you were gone,
Engraved in my mind like my favorite song,
Like a cordolium mystery or a journey too long.

It was a silver moon but a golden night,
We found ice-cold safety in numb frost bites,
Sitting on rooftops and humming strange tunes,
Forevers only make sense if they're with you,
I am leaving, your words in my mind,
Perhaps I forgot this was bound to happen sometime,
Somewhere, the sanctity of promises was comprised.

I confessed so many secrets in my senseless sleep, one too many of you and me,
I avenged my demons back to hell,
When I woke up in the morning; I had lies to tell,
You and I, we're the grayish moons,
Those two stars about which no knew,
Just one clueless whisper of three reckless words,
Moonlight turns to shadows, and it slowly hurts.

a/n : It's bizzare how stress, nervousness, anxiety and fear can make your imagination this wild. I'm trying something new, something raw and a new storytelling format here but this poem was mainly an escape from reality for me, so I apologize if it's too messy.

Also, nothing even remotely similar has ever happened to me and this is all fictional
