Memories fade...
Time flies...
Scars remain.
Tears wasted...
Fake laughters.
Sounds of laughter...
Goosebumps from your touch.
Beautiful moments...
Memories from the past.
They say our wounds heal with time
They say our pain
Subsides as time goes
But I don't agree.
My pain hasn't subsided,
My wounds still fresh,
What happened to time?
Isn't he supposed to heal me?
My heart aches
Whenever I see him with her.
I feel pain in my chest
When I hear him
Laugh to a joke she cracks.
I don't even know
How to describe how I feel,
When I see them walking together,
It hurts seeing him holding her hand
With the same hand
He used to hold mine.
It hurts seeing him
Shower kisses all over her,
With the same lips he used to tell me
Our relationship will never end
As far as my heart beats for you.
You are the mother of my children.
Together, we'll raise them.
What happened to your heart?
Has it stopped beating?
Oh, I forgot!
It hasn't stopped beating,
It has only stopped beating for me.
Promises made
Are now broken.
Moments spent...
Are now mere memories from the past.
Memories that when thought about,
Brings an unfamiliar feeling of pain.
Our memories will remain...
Forever engraved in my heart.
As a symbol of the love...
We once shared.
Yours sincerely,
The one whose heart you caused to ache.
