Monday morning is the day everyone starts their activities.. The street's view starting from the main road and the small road can be seen from students who go to school, employees who go to work, shop or cafe owners who open their outlets and all other activities starting their morning activities.. Likewise with large companies that start all office activities
In the middle of the city, there is a large company standing there.. One company that is one of the targets of job seekers.. In a special room on the top floor of the building, there is someone who is enjoying his Americano coffee and reading the news on his iPad
Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, a young man who became a CEO at a relatively young age of 24 years.. The company belongs to his family and has been entrusted to him.. However, his parents still monitor the progress of the company
"Film, come in.." said the young man while pressing one of the buttons on the telephone in front of him
Film is Metawin's secretary.. She's been working for Metawin since he became CEO.. Film is the person that he relies on a lot.. She knocked on the door first and then entered the room
"Yes sir.. Do you need anything?" Film said
"What's my schedule?" Metawin said while still reading the news
"At 10 am there will be a meeting to discuss the latest project developments, then at 12 noon you will have a lunch schedule with the girl chosen by your mother, then at 3 pm-"
"Cancel the 12 o'clock schedule, I don't want to attend that ridiculous lunch" he interrupted
"B-but sir, your mother told me to make sure you have to come.."
"I'm the one who paid you, not that woman"
Film doesn't dare to continue again, of course she still loves her job.. Even though Metawin looks calm, he is a pretty scary person in his silence
"All right sir, I'll cancel your schedule at 12" Film said
"Continue.." Metawin nodded
"At 3 o'clock you will have a schedule for a meeting to discuss the proposal for cooperation with the GMM group, then tonight you will have a reunion dinner with your friends at Olivier Restaurant.. That's all, sir.."
"Okay thank you" he nodded while turning off his iPad
Film bows down and leaves to go back to work
After Film left the room, Metawin stood up and walked towards the large glass which immediately revealed the view of the bustling city of Bangkok
"Friends?" he suddenly chuckled
"All they see is my wealth, not me" then his face became serious again and he took a sip of his Americano
He sighed and took his iPad, then he went into the meeting room.. Actually, the meeting started in 10 minutes, but Metawin didn't like being late.. That's why he came there first.. Slowly people started arriving into the meeting room and greeting their CEO.. Metawin with a flat face only gave them a small smile
The meeting went smoothly and without realizing it was time for lunch.. People began to leave the meeting room and leave Metawin with his secretary..
"What would you like for lunch, sir?" Film asked
"I want to take a walk, no need to find me lunch" Metawin got up from his chair
His secretary nodded in understanding then followed his boss who walked out of the meeting room back into his room
Metawin changed his clothes to a more casual outfit and didn't want to wear his suit and his tie.. He didn't want to attract much attention on the streets as he walked casually
After he changed his clothes, he put on his sunglasses and mask, then he got out into the elevator and go to the ground floor.. He walked out of his office building casually and without being escorted by anyone
It has become a habit for him to take a walk around the streets just for a brief refreshing from his busy life.. Because of his busy life, sometimes he may not come home from his office.. So he made a small room in his office which contained a bed, bathroom, and a cupboard to fill his spare clothes
Metawin stopped at a simple restaurant for lunch and after that he went to buy a cup of coffee again
He passed a cafe he had never been to before.. He smelled the coffee aroma that caught his attention.. Then, he was interested in stopping there and buying a cup of coffee from there.. The coffee aroma got stronger as soon as Metawin entered the cafe.. The cafe is quite crowded with visitors
Usually he would buy an Americano but when he saw the bestselling menu, he decided to order the Caramel Cream Macchiato.. He wanted to try something new
After he received his order, he immediately walked out of the cafe and intended to return to the office.. But when he came out, he saw a little boy wearing shabby clothes trying to sell flowers to passersby.. But he saw that no one was buying the little boy's flowers
He saw the look on the child's face, which looked sad and occasionally held his stomach
"Is he starving?" he thought
Metawin felt pity and he felt he needed to buy all the flowers and buy him some food.. Then, he returned to the cafe and bought some cakes and drinks for the little boy
After buying some cakes and drinks, he rushed out of the cafe, afraid that the boy would disappear
But when he wanted to approach the child, suddenly someone approached the child and knelt in front of him.. Metawin stopped for a moment and saw them
The person gave a plastic bag containing two packages of food and mineral water to the little boy.. The little boy accepted it and repeatedly bent his body to thank that person
Then the man took out some money and pointed to the flower that the boy was holding.. He bought all the boy's flowers and made the boy cry thanking him.. The person smiled and patted the boy's head while saying something
However Metawin couldn't hear their conversation.. He only focused on the stranger's face.. He was touched by what the stranger was doing
"I don't know there are still good people like him.." Metawin thought
Because he was too focused on the stranger, he didn't realize that the little boy had left that person.. Metawin was a little surprised by that but he just smiled resignedly.. At least someone helped the boy, he thought
Then, the stranger turned and went to a door.. Metawin followed the man who entered through the back door of the cafe.. It turned out that the man was an employee at this cafe
Metawin saw the man from outside the cafe.. He saw the man was putting the flower into a vase.. He smiled knowing that the flower wasn't thrown away.. Then he saw the plastic containing the cakes and drinks earlier, he sighed with a smile
"Maybe I'll just give this cake to Film.." he left the cafe and walked back to his office
