Sakura was born into a nice family, before they left the 3 year old alone with her 18 year old sister: Misa. they said they were going out to an opera.

Their parents didn't come home that night. So Misa got anxious, Sakura was very young so she didn't understand anything. Turns out their parents were brutally killed. Both stabbed. 28 times (I luv u if u get that reference)
So Misa had to take care of  Sakura for a while, she could only for 2 years before she sadly committed suicide. (Misa was emotionally abused by her boyfriend, and was overcome with grief by her parents death.) Which meant Sakura was an orphan.

She spent most of her childhood in an orphanage, before she turned 9, she escaped. and found a place to stay there until she met the infinity squad.
