jia is the name of her gf. (jia is lesbian, misa is a demisexual pansexual (she had an abusive bf in the past so)
both jia and misa used to be in a toxic friend group at their school, jia was forced to be girly, although she didn't like the style. she was forced to bully others along with misa. she got teased and was often told to shut up, misa and jia then after a while of being with the toxic people, decided to stand up for themselves, then leave. jia got to be herself, and they became closer friends. and soon caught feelings. but misa got a boyfriend, who abused her. jia and misa got into an argument and jia screamed at her: "JUST BREAK UP WITH HIM, HE'S BEEN CHEATING ON YOU AND HURTING YOU!" so, misa got the courage and dumped his ass. a month later, jia comes out to misa and after.. tells her feelings misa accepts the confession and they become girlfriends.
