Cesar Diaz
Monse has ignored me the entire week- end. I decided the best thing to do was just let her be alone. I'm not really sure why her and Oscar are in such terrible moods. I could tell it had something to do with Dani. No one won't tell me shit about what's going on. So I'll annoy Monse into telling me. Thats the plan.
I knocked on the front door. Maliyah was laying on my shoulder because she was asleep. The door finally opened, I frowned my face. Monse looked sad and her hair was a mess. Her face was sorta red, she looked exhausted. Her eyes slowly went to Maliyah in my arms.
She sighed, "I'm so sorry for leaving her that long with you. I lost track of time these couple of days, I'm really sorry."
I shook my head. "Don't worry about it, I'd do it any time." I actually enjoy being with her. Monse moved to the side so I could walk into the house. There was an blanket on the couch and two boxes of chinese food. I frowned, "Did someone stay the night here?" She looked down at the boxes before quickly grabbing them.
"Uh- Just Jamal,"
I just took her word for it. She walked away for a second but then came back. By the time she came back, I already laid Maliyah down on the couch. Monse didn't seem like her normal self at all.
"What's going on?" I asked. Her eyes started to water. "It's Dani, I want to understand what she's going through but I can't understand if she doesn't tell me what's going on." The tears started fallin. She wiped her eyes. "And now she wont come home, I tried to get her. When Kob- I went today, she wasn't there." She said.
I frowned, what was she going to say?
Monse took a deep breath. "But I'm sure she'll turn up eventually. Then I'll just deal with it from there." Monse frowned. I rolled my eyes, "We both know you're not telling the truth. You want to go look for her and that's not going to be good."
She tilted her head, "And why isn't it?"
"No offense, but she's an adult. She will do whatever she wants to and you can't stop her, we don't know what's going on with her. Looking for her might lead to some bad shit we don't wanna know." I shrugged. Monse shrugged back, "So what? I'm just suppose to sit here and wait for something bad to happen?"
There was a knock at the door. Monse rolled her eyes. "This conversation is definitely over, I do what I want to do for my sister." Overreact much? She pushed past me. When the door opened, I heard an masculine voice. Um the fuck.
