If I wanted to get Cesar's attention back, I needed to go through with Olivia's plan. As much as I hate her, she has an point. I need to go for someone who would make Cesar automatically jealous. Throwing Ruby in his face isn't going to work. Still I kinda like Ruben. He's like a little pet.
Whatever I want he's down with it. As long as I pretend to actually give a fuck about him. I don't have to beg in him to reply to my texts. He just does it. With Cesar, it's way different. He never did love me, but I let myself believe he did.
I never wanted to lower my values for any guy. It just isn't my thing. But for Cesar, it just happens. Somehow he can break your heart and you're still hooked. Toxic, I know, but I kinda like toxic.
I walked slowly to Cesar's house. Not for him though. For my new subject.
Oscar. I know that getting him to like me is going to be hard. He's always so angry, but I know how to tear that barrier down. Get him to trust me enough so he'll open up to me in the future. I felt my phone ring in my pocket. I pulled it out to see a number I don't have saved.
I still answer. It was a facetime so the face of the most annoying bitch ever popped up. She smiled at me, "Heyyy."
I rolled my eyes, "What Olivia?"
She shrugged her shoulders. "I called to see what you were doing." She said. "Um how did you get my number you fucking weirdo?" I asked. She sighed and took a second before looking at me. "It doesn't matter Tiana Gregg, just know I have the shit." She frowned.
Olivia squinted her eyes and tried to look behind me to see where I was. She laughed, "Are you going through with my plan? That was fast as hell."
I tilted my head, "You in my business? Don't do that." Olivia just rolled her eyes.
"Yeah yeah, just don't mess up." Olivia winked at me. I could tell she actually wanted me to mess up, stupid bitch. She finally started talking again. "Anyway, I called not to check up on you but to tell you that the lady at the front desk told me I HAVE THE JOB! Isn't that great?"
What the actual fuck? I started walking again. "Is this some kind of mind game? Are you setting me up?" I glared. Olivia shook her head. "I'm not, I just all of a sudden love the idea of kids." She said.
"You know this is past crazy? I'm startin to believe that you're an actual fucking psychopath." I said. Olivia scoffed, "It doesnt make me crazy to want to be with someone I love. You're just jealous." I rolled my eyes. "Of what bitch?" I asked.
"Of me-"
I laughed hard, "What is there to be jealous of, Olivia? Come on be serious here now. Do you actually believe I'm jealous of you?" I asked. She thought for a second. She frowned, "I don't have anything to prove to you Tiana." She just hanged up after that. Honestly whatever.
I heard started to hear loud music and people talking. Is there a party going on at Cesar's house. Literally its a school night. I shook the thought away and went towards the loud music. Some people were staring at me weirdly. You never seen someone walk into a party?
I felt someone touch my arm. I flinched hard and looked at the boy. He was sorta tanned and had a small mustache. He raised his hands up. "I didnt mean to make you jump." He laughed. The boy pulled me into a hug. "Im sorry what happened with Dani and all."
I frowned, the fuck?
I pulled away from him hard. "Why are you hugging me? I don't know you." I said. He rolled his eyes. "Don't act like that. You exactly who I am." He sighed. I tilted my head. "No, don't know you are. Never met you until now. What's your name?" I asked. He frowned, "Im Pablo....damn your memory bad as hell."
"No I have a pretty sharp memory,"
He threw his head back and laughed. "Yeah whatever Monse." He said. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? I don't even look like her at all. These people are weird.
"I'm not Monse." I frowned. He looked me up and down. "Damn I just noticed that. She has a little more than you." He shrugged and walked away. Not really. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Focus on the mission. Don't let anyone else distract you. I looked around the party for Oscar. He had to be here, right?
I mean, this his house. It would be weird for there to be a party at his house with- out him there. My arm collided hard with someone else's. She glared at me, "Watch where you going." I frowned at her. "I didn't mean to do that, so chill out." She glared at me. I could tell she was starting to get upset, but I don't care. I'm not letting some random bump me.
I felt someone slightly press against me as they slid by. When I realized who it was, I almost fainted. He looked way better than I thought he did. I've seen him, but not up close and personal. His looks really show when you're closer.
Oscar grabbed the girl's hand. "Kehlani, calm down." He sighed. She shook her head. "I'm not about to sit around while my friend is sprung out on drugs!" She yelled out. What? Isn't this about me? "Kehlani" laughed and rolled her eyes.
"And you decided go throw some fuckin party to ignore the fact that you're hurtin and that you're worried about her." The girl yelled at him. He looked down. She shook her head. "We all know you love her, not just love- in love with her. Stop trying to hide the feelings because they aren't going away." Kehlani frowned.
She looked between the two of us. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be going to find her before it's too late." Kehlani said. She made sure to hit my shoulder when she walked by. I wanted to grab her but I controlled myself. I looked at Oscar. He didn't look at me.
I bit my lip and touched his arms. "I'm sure everything's going to be okay." I smiled at him. His eyes slowly went to my hands on his arm. Look at me now.
His head slowly went up. Yessss.
I smiled at him. He frowned at me.
He pulled away from me hard. "Don't fucking touch me. I don't know where your hands have been." He glared at me. He walked back where he came from. My body slowly felt warm. Why didnt he react the way I expected him to act.
I smirked myself, playing hard to get.
