49. The Beginning

Third Person POV:

Perth gave up for his love his heart is sore that pain he can't explain it to anyone only Saint gives warmth to him Perth walk out from there for today atleast his love woke up it's more than enough to know Saint is alive

Every night, he laid awake with memories flooding through his eyes with the hope to be with him to wake up with him to eat with him  again and now that there is no trace of him in Saint'smemories Perth breath among stillness of his pounding heart

There is nothing as wonderful as to love someone and to be loved by that person and the painful thing is to let go of that person because you only love him to Perth it's a torture a sweet pain which he can't explain

Perth just need to give some time to him and Saint will be his alone Perth is in pain and happy too hoping to embrace Saint soon

Saint on the other hand felt weak his head hurting alot he look at his family he look at Zee too

"I was informed that you were in hospital now that you are fine I'll leave" Saint nod in reply

Perth visit Saint again next day he can't live away from Saint now that he woke up he just can't.....

Perth bring flowers to Saint he put them beside Saint's bed

"Who are you?! Why are you bringing flowers to me?!" Saint ask saint's mom was plating food she look at them Perth smile weakly

"Um...I-I'm your boss you work at company" Saint frown to such weird reason

"What do you mean my boss I don't remember signing up to any companies?!" Saint's voice tremble

"It's ok if don't remember doctor said it will take time I just came to visit and sorry for yesterday I wa--"

"It would be better if I won't see again if I remember working for you I'll call you personally please so don't come again I hope you understand" Saint answer coldly turn away from Perth

The businessman stand there smiling bitterly in tears saint's mom look at him she can't do anything too he nod and leave Perth hold his breath until he was out of that room he felt like someone was straddling him

Perth went to doctor's cabin to ask about Saint's condition

"I have checked all the reports and consulted other surgeons too you the blood clot in his brain is not possible to remove to explain in common language it's in a very sensitive part of brain that it can't be removed Saint may get his memory back but it takes time either it could be 3 years or more or may not recover his memory too we just have to wait until he himself remembers if we pressure him this time we may not save him I'm sorry Mr.Perth but let's hope for the best" doctor says leaving Perth a dead corpse

Perth walk out towards exit walk in long and heavy strides that frustration that pain he feels suffocated Perth went to his car hold the car door nod but stop in the middle he drop on floor bursting out in tears he close his mouth with both the hands trying his best to stop himself but is helping him

'If only I would have helped Saint cross the road maybe we would have been happy together at this hour' Perth blame himself for something which isn't his fault

Days pass by Perth can't get over Saint even though he is back to his life he can't concentrate in his life he get updates from his parents Saint believes that he's been divorced with Zee and he doesn't remember anything after that his parents told him that he met with an accident he woke up after 7 years since his divorce and he believed it Perth is no longer in his memory

It was Perth who asked saint's parents to lie to his son to save his love he erased his memory from his life hoping he would come back

Perth was working at his office he got a call from his secretary he answer it

"Sir Mr.Saint has come to meet you shall I send him in?!"

"Y-Yes send him" Perth's happiness got no limits he don't know why he came the last time he met him was 2 months back now Saint came to visit him Did his memory come? Don't know Perth quickly clean his table as how Saint like he hide their couple pictures which he filled in his cabin wait for Saint near the table panting heavily from all the work

Saint walk in look at Perth covered in sweat "um...are you ok?!"

"Y-Yes I'm totally fine how are you feeling now Saint?!" Perth heartbeat is erratic will Saint run towards him? Hug him? Kiss him? Don't know but his mind is chaotic

"Yeah I'm doing well as you said I'm your employee so I came here to check those papers which I signed if you don't mind" Perth froze at his spot his heart shattered but it's ok Saint came to him voluntrly maybe if they both work together memories might be triggered Perth offer seat Perth take out saint's agreement and show him

"I'm sorry about that day" Saint apologize for what happened at hospital

"You don't have to be" Perth says

"So are you fine now I think you should reset for some time you don't have to worry about work it can wait until you recover completely" Perth says worried that Saint might stress himself

"Ahh!! I'm tired listening to this resting even mom won't allow me to do anything I--ah I'm sorry I just snapped unknowingly" Saint apologize quickly Perth look at him amused he hasn't changed a bit his Saint whines all the time if someone pampers him more Perth's heart warms up after listening to his Saint  being cutesy

"Ok as long as you won't stress yourself I'm ok with you getting back to work" Perth offer well he can't stay away from him too

"I can start from today please~ I'm really bored at home please I promise to do my best" Saint ask desperately

"You don't have to give your best I'll inform my secretary she will guide you" Perth says go back to his table Saint walk out excited

"Um... One second apart from our from business relationship I don't know anything about your personal life can I ask you something if you don't mind please" Perth beg with his doey eyes Saint nod unsure of what Perth is going to say

"Are you single? If yes would be interested in men?!" Perth can't wait anymore he just ask as his heart is itching since he can smell Saint from the close proximity he needs to try his best to get back to him Perth thought maybe it's the time to play flashback again to give his love a second chance with himself
