Chapter 4- Cedrics jealousy

I was getting ready in Grandmas office. That way no one can see me or my dress. I admired myself in the mirror I looked pretty no gorgeous. I had a half up half down look. And of course my beautiful dress. My heels are glass like Cinderella I laugh to myself because well I'm not Cinderella but I found my own Prince Charming. And Boy is he charming.

I walk to the hall to the entrance and come out slowly ,everyone looks at me. I smile at Cedric. Hermione looks beautiful in her dress with krum. Ron and Harry with the Patil Twins. Cedric walking towards me. " she looks beautiful" one of the twins muttered "yeah she does" Ron says then looks at me I walk down the stairs Cedric takes my hand and walks with me to the door. "Is that Julia with Cedric?" The other twin with Harry asks "no. Absolutely not" Harry replies looking at me

The doors open fleur and her date goes first, Hermione and victor go next, me and Cedric , Harry and his date behind us I smile to Cedric as we walk down the aisle with the rest of them. There's no one I rather be here with then Cedric. Cedric puts his hand on my waist and holds my hand. I take his shoulder we switch. I'm particularly good at this, well I had Mcgonagall as a grandmother.

Me and Cedric dance, Soon others are joining in, Dumbledore and Grandma, Mr Filch and his cat, Hagrid and Madame Maxime. Mad-Eye sits on the sidelines drinking. The scene changes, the music is now rock played by the Weird Sisters fronted by Jarvis Cocker from Pulp. Cool! The crowd is jumping. Harry, Ron and their dates are sitting some distance away looking miserable. Hermione comes to Harry, Ron and Ron's date. me and Cedric are sitting down at the tables. Laughing and smiling it was an amazing night nothing could ruin this Hermione goes to sit with Harry, Ron and rons date. Well Harry's date went off with someone else ouch. Soon after that a while there goes Ron's date.

I smile to Cedric "Jules whats wring?" He asks putting his hand on my cheek "nothing at all" I smile I'm so much happier here with Cedric then I would have been with Harry. The way Cedric asked me to the Yule ball was amazing I never realized Cedric was the romantic type. We were at the quidditch arena and we were laying in the grass next to each other I looked over to Cedric and smiled he smiled back at me.

"Jules will you go to the Yule ball with me?" Cedric asked softly I nodded yes and kissed him. I loved him I loved him ever since I found out we were neighbors he's my best friend and the person I never ever want to loose . I blink back into reality and see Cedric infront of me smiling his usual smile. I stroke Ced's cheek. "What did you think when I walked in?" I asked Cedric "when you walked in I didn't even realize it was you until I looked at your face you look so beautiful" ced said tucking a hair behind my ear.

Cedric walked me out of the ball holding my hand. We were sitting in the front room "did you know Harry asked me to the ball?" I tell cedric he looked at me upset "I told Potter to stay away from you and not to try anything like that." He said angered "you did what?" I almost yell I'm angry now "how could you! You think you can tell someone to stay away from me?? I'm not a little girl anymore" I yell at him fully "look jules I don't like how he tries to hang around you!" Cedric yells back

We argue all the way back to the Gryffindor common room "Cedric no leave me alone! You can't do that!" I screamed at him I'm sure by now the whole school knew we were arguing  "Julia come on don't be like that!" He yelled back "Cedric we are through! You can't do that!what did you tell Ron to stay away from me too! So I have no friends at all! God Cedric you're so controlling!" I scream at him "Julia! We are not through! I love you!" I turn around from the painting of the fat lady "you what?" I ask softly but angry "I love you Julia bell" Cedric said quietly "password?" The fat lady asks "diamonds and pearls" I say softly then go in

When I go in I see Fred, George, Ron, Harry and Hermione all at the fire. "Im sure you guys heard that, right?" I ask softly but just enough for them to hear "yeah..." Hermione says "I'm sorry to hear that Julia" Fred says I nod softly I run up to the girls dorms I lay in my bed fiddling with my necklace I take it off and throw it against my wall it doesn't even smudge I lay my face in my pillow and scream. I hate him I hate him I hate him! but yet I'm so in love with him...  This is hard I don't have school tomorrow so I'm free and I get to spend time with grandma. It's nice to have grandma here without her it'd be really lonely.

I'm on a bridge outside of hogwarts with Hermione and Harry "Harry you told me you'd figured the
egg out weeks ago. The task is two days from now"Hermione yelled at him "Really? I had no idea. I suppose Viktor's already figured it out." Harry replies smug "I wouldn't know, we didn't actually
talk about the tournament. Actually we didn't really talk at all, Viktor's more of a physical being. I just mean he's not particularly... Mostly he watches
me study. It's a bit annoying actually. You are trying to figure this egg out aren't you?" Hermione states

"What's that supposed to mean?" Harry asks "I mean these tasks are supposed to test you, in the most brutal way they're almost cruel. And um, I'm scared for you. You got by the dragon mostly on nerve, I'm not sure it's going to be enough this time." Hermione said  "Hey Potter." I know that voice Cedric I take Hermione's hand and walk away I could still hear them "Cedric." Harry said icy "How are you?" Cedric asked him "Spectacular." Harry replies sarcastically

"Look I realise I never really thanked you properly for tipping me off about those dragons." Cedric said looking at me realizing I'm not wearing my necklace "Forget about it. I'm sure you would have done the same for me." Harry said "Exactly. You know the prefects bathroom on the fifth floor?" Cedric asks
Harry nods. "It's not a bad place for a bath. Just
take your egg and mull things over in the hot water." Cedric says then he walks over to me and Hermione. Hermione immediately walks over to Harry

"Yes?" I said meekly god I hated how weak I sounded "I'm sorry" he said quietly "I miss you" he added softly "I miss you too" I whispered and hugged him wrapping my arms around his neck. It was warm and nice. He smelled of lemons and honey. It was calming yet refreshing. I kissed him quickly fearing I would regret it he kissed back eagerly his lips were soft and smooth. "I-I've got to go Ced" I say quickly and bite my bottom lip. "Okay" he smiled then walked away I watched how he walked and damn did he make walking look so good.
