JULIETTE FOSTERS ONCE SAID THAT DEATH WAS A BORING SIDE EFFECT. That was, of course, before she was thrown into the supernatural side of the world and all it's dangers. And now Allison, Aidan, and her own father had died at the hands of the Nogitsune. It's fair to say that Juliette has experienced the loss and death of all whom she loved so much that you'd expect that she'd know how to deal with the grief by now. Except, she hadn't. She was drowning in her grief so much that she thought she'd die from the pain of it all.

"You know, I thought I wouldn't care." Juliette admitted as she took the boxes out of the trunk of the car. "I thought I'd identify his body at the morgue, then move on with my life. Instead, I couldn't even speak at during the eulogy–"

Isaac interrupted her abruptly as he closed the trunk of the car, all the boxes on the floor. "You can't get mad at yourself for grieving his death, Jules. He was a shitty person," He admitted. "But he raised you, and you can't get mad at yourself for being sad over losing your family. And on the bright side, don't you inherit all his money?"

Rolling her eyes at the joke, she shook her head. "Not until i'm eighteen." Juliette leaned against the car, sending him a quizzical look. "Are you sure this is the best decision?"  She asked carefully. "Because if you ask me, it's a fucking bad one. Really." He laughed at the comment, causing her to laugh as well. "I don't know how you're going to survive there without me."

"Rephrase that." He narrowed his eyes at her, in a playfully threatening way.

"Fine, I don't know how i'm going to survive here without you."

Isaac's eye drifted to Stiles, who was helping put Juliette's boxes into his house. "You'll be fine. You have the pack now. Just don't get them into too much trouble, alright?" He warned jokingly. "I'm serious, no more playing Sherlock and Watson with Stiles."

Juliette glanced over her shoulders at Scott and Stiles, and through the open house door, she saw them attempt to move the cardboard boxes upstairs. She wasn't ready to leave this parking lot, leaving Isaac, and stepping into a semi-new lifestyle. "I'm not sure about that part." She took out a folded paper from her pocket, showing it to him. "I found my mom's suicide note."

"I feel like there's going to be an and here-"

"There's something off about it, Isaac, I swear— I just can't tell what it is yet."

Isaac sighed, placing his hand on the roof of the car. "Jules, promise me you won't overthink it. All that's going to do is put you into dangerous situations." He examined the house in front of him, then turned back to her. "Honestly, i'm not sure how Sheriff Stilinski is going to handle both Stiles and you living under the same roof."

   "He'll manage. Somehow."

Scott and Stiles walked out of the Stilinski house hold and moved to the car, where there was a couple of boxes still on the floor. "There's more?" Stiles groaned. "Jesus, how many things do you own?"

Juliette rolled her eyes, looking back down at her hands. "Is it gone now?" Scott asked, noticing the way she stared at her fingers. "Your powers? Or is it more, now that you took his powers?"

"No," she shook her head. "I'm not using it." She was referring to the Nogitsune's power in her veins, one that she refused to use in fear of who she might become; who she might hurt.

Scott nodded. "It's Argent." Isaac spoke when his phone rang. "He says I should go now if I don't want to miss my flight."

As Scott and Stiles both said their goodbyes to him, Stiles managing to sneak a snarky comment, they each picked up a box and moved away from the two. Juliette pulled Isaac into an embrace, trying not to cry knowing that her oldest friend was leaving her. "Call me everyday, alright?" She chocked in her tears.

Nodding, he got on his motorcycle, holding his helmet. "Jules, one more thing."

She perked up, wiping away the tears that managed to escape. "Yeah?"

   "Why did you do it?"

    "Do what?"

Isaac's eyes landed on Stiles, who was on the porch of his house, looking out at the two as they said their goodbyes in the sidelines of the street. "Why did you break up with him?"

Juliette's eyes followed his gaze, and it led her to Stiles, who's eyes were on hers but quickly, and awkwardly turned around when she caught his stare. "We hardly dated." There was a three day gap in which they vaguely confirmed to each other their intentions of spending their future together, a short lived yet significant time. She knew it wouldn't have worked out, not with her father's recent passing and the wounds still fresh in her mind. "It doesn't count."

"You two were practically dating long before then."

Her stomach turned, and she shook her head towards him. "I don't know, alright?" She admitted. "Bet you've been waiting for me to say that for months."

"Only a year or two." He shrugged. She pulled him into one last embrace, holding back her tears as she watched him step away. In truth, she didn't want him to leave, though she understood Beacon Hills was not a place he could grow in, only one that would remind him of scarring times. Isaac needed to grow, whereas Juliette couldn't find it in herself to do so when there's still so much mysteries to piece together.

Juliette wasn't quite done with Beacon Hills yet.
