The Arcana Parent Scenarios (Requests Open)

The day you were born

Pretty self explanatory. You're born and this is how each potential parent would react. Also random facts with each character.

Asra- Asra was delighted to find out you were coming and was even happier when they first held you in thier arms. They showered you with kisses and quiet praises for hours until they had to reluctantly put you down. They often leave Faust in your crib and they secretly sing to you at random. You were given a snake plush with a protection spell on the day of your birth.

Nadia- She was a bit nervous during pregnancy but her sisters and parents assured her you would be fine. She was mostly just baffled when you were born as she couldn't believe she had made something so perfect. She cherished every moment and did shed a few silent tears when she finally got to hold you in her arms. She has fallen asleep with you on her chest too many times to count. You were given a tiny golden grown on the day of your birth.

Julian- He panicked. From the second he found out you were growing to the the second you gave your first cries. He rapidly darted around collecting random baby suited items even though they weren't needed and was a bit of a nuisance because of his rushing around. He cried. He cried  hard when you were born. He has fallen asleep nealing at your crib a dozen times as he is afraid if he moves away from you you'll dissapear. You were given a tiny flower plush on the day of your birth.

Muriel- He was so scared when he found out you were coming. He fixed up the hut and baby-proofed everything he could. He went to Asra and Nadia for help though he was a bit embarrassed to ask. He broke down panicking when you were born and was reluctant to hold you as he feared he would crush you in his palm. Once he calmed down he cried for a good long while and just sat there holding you while making sure to keep you warm. You were given a bear carving and a fur baby blanket on the day of your birth.

Portia- She was at first in denial and didn't think she was actually pregnant until you kicked her. She started acting strange and careful around everyone. For the first time in her life she asked Nadia for time off and when she explained what was going on she was given the best treatment money could buy. She cried tears of joy and kept boasting that you were the cutest baby that had ever been born. She carried you around strapped to her chest and kept to basic work for a long time. You were given a stuffed toy sword on the day of your birth and a rare golden coin.

Lucio- He. Wouldn't. Stop. Bragging. He boasted to the entire kingdom that his heir was going to be the best and threw dozens of parties to celebrate. When you were born he fainted. Guess all the excitement got to him. Your grandmother visited you while your father was asleep and gave you a feather necklace. Lucio showered you with gifts from the moment you left the nursery but the one thing that sticks out is the albino puppy that grew up with you. Her name is Scout ;) (No it's not that scout he just liked the name)

The Courtiers~

Vulgora- They were a bit hard to read when you were born. They didn't exactly understand the whole baby thing but once they figured out how weak and squishy you were (After a few pokes) they declared that they would protect you for eternity. They had constant supervision around your room and they started to train you the second you could grasp a twig. While your room was full of weapons the one gift that you kept was a small beetle plush.

Valdemar: They.....They had originally planned to experiment on you. They didn't expect to become attached but the moment they laid eyes on you they felt a deep urge that flushed away any thoughts of hurting your small form. You were constantly by their side and they vowed to erase anything or anyone that dared harm you. They gave you a few stuffed things that they had dissected but you didn't want them. In the end you ended up with one of their gloves. They never got it back.

Volta- Okay side note: Oh god the cravings. She was so so worried that if she didn't eat enough you would starve. She hid away like a scared animal and just rested making sure she was safe. When you were born she was constantly feeding you and she brought you everywhere. She actually yelled for once at Vulgora when they made you cry and it shocked the entire counsel. She gave you a plush cake slice that she mistook for a tasty snack.

Vlastomil: Okay at first no one believed he had a child. Then he whipped around and proudly displayed you on his back. He often let you play in mud and with worms stating that  "All of my children must form strong bonds." You spent quite a lot of time with wiggler in your crib and surprisingly nothing went wrong. She would just curl up around you or let you use her as a pillow. Your father often said things like "Look at my cute little babies. So alike they might be twins!" He is very very proud of every little thing you do. You were given a worm plush and a necklace with dirt from the other world in a tiny bottle.

Valerius: You were a bit of an oopsie baby but he was smug non the less. He walked with a pep in his step for months but he was frantic and scared when you were born. He drank quite a bit that day but when you were handed to him he just looked shocked. He will never admit this to anyone but he fell to his knees and sobbed. He dropped his wine and just held you blubbering into your swaddle. He like Lucio showered you with gifts but the most special was your baby blanket. It was silk with gold trim and it had your name stitched into the corner along with a tiny heart.
