The other half of my memory

I woke up 2 an echo of my name. And a memory of the deck right next 2 where I sat.

I woke up with an echo of a voice sounding in my head. It sounded so familiar.

I looked at my phone knowing by heart my method of 'recognizing' someone.

Then I looked at my Instagram. Causally scrolling down until I found a picture of someone familiar. I looked closely only 2 get nothing.

After that, I went down stairs 2 greet my parents.

"Good morning" my mom said while smiling at me.

"Morning"

My mom then placed my food in front of me. As I began eating, my father came in

"Morning" he said

"Morning" I said right before I dug into my food.

"How's it taste?" He asked me while sitting down in the chair right next 2 me.

"Good" I said causing both of my parents 2 smile.

After I finished my meal, I rinsed off my dish before heading 2 school.

At school:

"Hey stranger!" Fong said while waving at me.

"Hi" I greeted while I stared at the photo in my hands.

Phuak grabbed my phone and looked at the photo.

"Isn't that the guy we met the other day?" Phuak asked while showing the other 2 the photo.

They all nodded

"We met him yesterday?" I asked confused

They all nodded

"Hum"

"What's wrong?" Ohm asked

"Something feels off about him" I said not quite sure about him.

"What are u talking about?" They asked confused

"For some reason I woke up and heard a voice"

"OMG, he's going crazy guys!" Fong faked

"Shut it!" I laughed

They all looked at me surprised

"What's wrong?" I asked freaked out

"Nothing. It's just that we never hear u laugh anymore is all" Ohm said while the others nodded.

"Really?" I mused 2 myself.

"Anyways" Phuak said before continuing, "what do u mean that u heard a voice?"

"I've never heard it before or at least that's what I think but it said, let's be friends"

"Creepy" Fong said while rubbing his arms in fright.

"Shush it" I rolled my eyes.

"Anyways, let's head 2 class"

In the classroom:

"Um... Tine, can I talk 2 u for a second" a girl said while fidgeting.

I nodded then Followed her outside. It wasn't Werid until I saw the guy from the photo, in person, walk into the classroom. (I exited through one door while he entered through the other door)

"Tine... I like u!" She exclaimed while giving me her homemade chocolates.

I was shocked but at the same time I knew what I had 2 do. Turn her down after all, I'd just get in the way with my memory loss and all.

"I'm sorry but I can't"

"It's ok" she said looking as though she was about 2 cry. She then ran inside.
I walked causally back 2 my classroom seeing the familiar guy sitting in the seat next 2 me.

Why is he sitting there?

I walked over 2 my seat and sat down not expecting anything from the stranger.

"Hello" he greeted me in which I ignored him. "Why don't u answer me?"

Silence

"Alright class so today...." the teacher started

After class:

When I was about 2 leave, I felt someone grab my wrist.

I looked over 2 see that it was Sarawat.
