✿ Chapter 9 ✿

N/N decided to join their tea party after being invited by Shoto, she had to wear something more formal, Shoto asked Fuyumi if she could borrow a dress she could wear, Fuyumi lend her a pink dress, N/N didn't mind so she wore it, she sat right next to Shoto

"I love this castle, everything is just the way I re- would have done it myself" Ariana said
"Consider our home, your home" The queen reassured
"Oh, I already do" Ariana giggled
"Did I mention that my darling, Yaoyoruzu, is an accomplished harpist? I started her as soon as she could sit up" Ariana added
"Mother" Yaoyoruzu called
"Stop slouching!" Ariana scolded

N/N took her cup holding it the wrong way, she burned her fingers "Ow!" N/N exclaimed quickly putting down her cup, The table immediately looked at her
"Watch me" Yaoyoruzu helped as she demonstrated the right way to hold it
"Thank you" she thanked her

"N/N grew up in an island in the south seas" Shoto said in his usual monotone voice
"Really? You could hardly tell" Ariana said
"Look how charming your little monkey is, such wonderful manners, and she's a monkey!" Ariana exclaimed

N/N felt a little sad and embarrassed knowing she was being compared to a monkey
"Sweetheart, tell Prince Shoto about you watercolors" Ariana told her daughter
"Perhaps another time, mother" her daughter replied
"Don't be hesitant, go on, you love to paint!" Ariana insisted
"Oh I do, The colors seem to come to life on the page"

Ariana took a scone that the servant offered, she tripped the servant, the scones went flying towards N/N, The scones ruined the dress, she stood up embarrassed "Oh my, I am so sorry" The servant apologized, Shoto and Yaoyoruzu gave her a concerned look

"I-I should go" N/N said before running back to the greenhouse
"N/N wait!" Shoto stood up and tried to stop her
"Shoto, let her go, she needs a moment to herself" Queen Rei said to Shoto while stopping him, Shoto watched N/N run back to the greenhouse

A little time after her tea party disaster, N/N was taking care of some plants in the greenhouse
"You look the way I feel" N/N said to an island rose plant that hadn't fully bloomed yet "Everything I do here is wrong" She added, She pushed the pot in the sunlight, then the flower bloomed even more, she started to walk around the greenhouse

Its magic when you are here beside me
Close you eyes and let me hold you tight~

Mina was walking around when she decided to check on N/N

N/N continued to sing while walking towards a fruit tree and taking a fruit from it

Everything that I could ever need is
Right here in my arms
Tonight~

Mina walked to see N/N
"Oh, Pardon me" Mina greeted
"Mina! Hello!" N/N greeted
"I didn't mean to intrude" she said
"Want one?" N/N offered the fruit she took from the tree
"Without a knife and fork? Don't be ridiculous!" Mina exclaimed

"Just one bite?"

"Well, if you insist" Mina said as she took the fruit "Just one" she then took a bite
"Oh~ mmm~ my friend and I used to climb trees to pick these" Mina said
"See that ripe one on the top branch? its all yours" N/N told her

"You mean climb up there?" Mina asked

"I'll hold your tiara, so it wouldn't fall off" N/N suggested
"Thank you but... Well... Its just... I forgotten how" Mina answered
"Forgotten how to climb? well, we can fix that" N/N said while picking up Mina
