✿ Chapter 20 ✿

"Don't be ridiculous, we haven't even had dinner" Ariana tried to reason while she panicked "Please" Shoto said while giving her a slice of cake "Have a bite" he added, Ariana hesitated but knew that there were people looking at her, so she took the plate, the king and queen looked at each other before looking back at the intense scene happening, Ariana took the fork and took a piece of the cake with it, Everyone was looking at her, Yaoyoruzu was concerned and shocked about her mother's plan, Ariana was about to put the cake in her mouth but found a reason "well, how do I know you didn't put something in the cake yourself, to frame me?!" She complained, "She didn't, mother" Yaoyoruzu said boldly finally standing up, the guests gasped again "Yaoyoruzu?!" Ariana looked at her daughter "You told me not to eat anything, why would you say that unless... You poisoned it" She explained

Unseen at the wedding table, the three rats where eating a small part of the cake, after hearing the alerting news, they all fell asleep.

Ariana looked around, she was finally exposed, she ran as she pushed me and Shoto out of the way, they both quickly stood up and started to chase her down

"Katsuki, you stay here!" Queen Mitsuki said as she followed them "W-What? Don't just leave me here Hag!!!" Katsuki yelled out shamelessly

Shoto was well-trained, so he ran faster than N/N, Ariana took a carriage then started to pull on the reins, the carriage took off, but Shoto managed to jump onto the little step the carriage had, Uraraka and N/N showed up and staryed to follow them, Queen Mitsuki was behind them, she stopped after looking at N/N

I climb onto Uraraka's back and she started running after them, Ariana was going to cross the bridge, she saw three maidens blocking the path, when the maidens saw the carriage on their way, they panicked, they all went to side quickly but one of them slipped and was hanging off the brigde, Shoto, being the good guy that he is, jumped off the carriage to help the maiden that was hanging off the bridge, Ariana laughed when she finally managed to get the prince off her tail, but Uraraka and N/N was still on it, Ariana was far ahead "Try the trees" I suggested as Uraraka topk the shortcut, We finally manage to get close to her, Ariana looked back before pulling the reins again to make the carriage go faster "I can't catch up" Uraraka said while trying her best to run as fast as she could, I look up to see a branch and had a good idea pop up "We're close enough" I said while taking the branch while Uraraka was running, I held the branch while aiming at the carriage wheel "Steady Uraraka" I said before finally throwing the branch at the wheel, perfect shot, the branch intertwined with the wheel, the wheel then broke, the carriage was now changing the direction as the horse that was pulling it ran off as the carriage crashed into the stable, where the pigs were, It sent Ariana flying before landing on the mud in the stable, Ariana panicked in disgust and she complained about being in the pig's stable.

After the incident
The king and queen, well mostly the king was apologizing to N/N about his wrongs "Please forgive me N/N, I assume the worst without giving you a chance, you saved us from disaster" The king stated as he apologized, her friends looked proudly at her "We owe you so much" The queen stated "Uh, I'm glad I can help" I bowed at them before they walked off

Shoto was on the other side looking at N/N, smiling... "One day, I hope someone would look at me, the way you look at N/N" Yaoyoruzu said as she walked up to the prince's side "When that happens, they'll be a lucky man" he replied to Yaoyoruzu

I was looking at them, slightly sad "They make a beautiful couple..." I commented before turning around to walk away "Then why is the prince coming over her?!" Uraraka asked excitingly, I stopped my tracks and turn around to see Shoto walking up to me "Sail away with me" He proudly said "I-I can't, Princess Yaoyoruzu-" I hesitated until Shoto cut me off "Wants us to be happy" He said, he looked at Yaoyoruzu who nodded at them, You were in disbelief "N/N, will you marry me?" he asked, I smiled at him until Uraraka cutted in front of us "Ummm, this is where you say yes" she grabbed my hand and placed it on Shoto's hand, "yes..." you mumbled "yes Yes YES!" you exclaimed with joy as you hugged Shoto

"Shoto" the king called out "excuse me?" he questioned "Father, no more nonsense about me marrying a princess" Shoto stated as he stood up to his father, The king looked at his wife who nodded with a pleased look on her face "Perhaps it is time for a change" The king said
