Yeonjun dragged Taehyun into the boys' changing room.
"What the fuck, Taehyun?!"
The shorter just shrugged and checked his appearance in the mirror. "You insulted me, dumb ass."
"I- Whatever, just don't go around telling people I like Soobin." Yeonjun demanded, crossing his arms. "Why not?"
"For the same reason you won't confess to Beomgyu." Taehyun froze with wide eyes. "What-"
"It's waaay too obvious. The only reason Beomgyu doesn't know is because you act like an asshole towards him, even though he likes you too."
"He likes me?" Yeonjun smirk and left Taehyun, who's brain was working furiously at the new information, and made his way to class. Unfortunately, he had music.
With Soobin.
~~~
Yeonjun and Soobin glared at each other.
Not because they hate each other, but because they were trying to convince themselves that they didn't have feelings for each other.
"I think a C minor would be better." Yeonjun mumbled. Soobin scowled and took the pen from Yeonjun. "No, C major."
"Stop being childish, a C minor is better."
"No, C minor makes it sad."
"That's kinda the point."
"Well, I feel quite happy so, C major."
"You seem salty to me."
The continued glaring at each other, causing a tension that affected the whole glass. Mr. Min looked up from his laptop and groaned. "Okay boys, get out my classroom and work on this. If you step foot in my class and haven't made up. So help me-"
"Fine." Soobin mumbled. The boys packed their things and left the classroom. They made their way to the library in silence, deep in thought.
For Soobin, he was thinking about how to make Yeonjun happy, but if they were becoming enemies...how?
Yeonjun...
Well Yeonjun just wanted to go home.
Yeonjun sat at a table, Soobin following. "Thanks for getting us kicked out..." The elder grumbled. Soobin scoffed. "Did you dye your hair blue because you're always blue?"
Yeonjun let out a laugh. A laugh. It made Soobin blush and look down immediately. "Funny. No, I did it because- never mind, it doesn't matter why."
Soobin looked up and as he suspected, Yeonjun had a sad look on his face again. "Did it work?"
"What?" Yeonjun tilted his head in confusion. "Whatever the reason, did it work?"
"No."
For some reason, the mood was...lighter.
The little moment they just shared helped them get a little closer than before and now, they could concentrate on the project. The bell sounded after a while, signalling the next period. But Yeonjun wanted to hear more of Soobin voice and his cute hahaha. And the feeling was mutual.
Soobin pouted when he heard the bell. He was supposed to make Yeonjun happy, but Yeonjun made him blush and laugh (and cringe at some moments but he didn't mind). They glanced at each other, knowing they both felt the exact same why.
"Hey, uh, do you wanna come to my house after school? T-To finish the assignment, of course!" Soobin proposed. Yeonjun didn't smile, but there was a sparkle in his eyes. "Sure, text me your address." He replied.
"I don't have your number." Soobin reminded. Yeonjun smirks and stands up. "You didn't have my address either."
Soobin open his mouth but Yeonjun was already walking away.
"I guess I'm going to Taehyun again..."
