"Well, I better get going." You say, as the credits to the movie you were watching displayed on screen.
You had a movie date with your girlfriend, Taylor Swift. It was a much needed date night you both desperately needed due to your busy work schedule, you haven't spent as much time you would have liked with Taylor since she would be leaving for tour soon. Taylor had you wrapped in her arms like she was your blanket as you both crashed on the couch to watch your movie.
As much as you loved your girlfriend, you wanted to get home before it got any later than it was. As of right now, it was after eleven.
"Or, you could stay here for the night." Taylor suggested.
Of course you've considered the option/offer, and although Taylor said you would always have a home with her, you just weren't ready for that step into your relationship as your relationship was fairly new to you. So you politely declined her proposition.
"Thank you for the offer, Tay, but honestly I'm not ready yet to take the next step-" You were interrupted in mid sentence by Taylor kissing you.
"And that's okay. I just worry about you driving alone, especially at this hour of the night."
"I know, but you know that I will let you know I got home safely."
She smiled.
"I know, sweetheart. At least take some snacks with you so you can stay awake and focus on getting yourself home."
Taylor led you to her kitchen pantry and pulled out something that she knew you couldn't resist even if you wanted to. She pulled out a bag of gold fish and ritz crackers, she knew they were your favorite items to snack on whether it'd be on the road or just in general. Taylor handed them to you and started instructing you to stay off your phone, making you giggle.
"Don't worry, Taylor. I'm not going to take that risk."
Taylor walked out with you to your car and once you were fastened, Taylor shut your car door and watched you drive away until you were swallowed into the dead of night.
