This was not meant to happen, Taylor  sometimes would let the anger get the best of her and say things she didn't mean, when it did happen, it would always end up hurting someone, but you as well.

What happened was that you had a bad day at work and all you wanted was your loving girlfriend, Taylor. Taylor had always helped you feel better, but after you left your shoes on, she got mad and it was like all hell broke loose. She claimed that you seemed to be so careless enough to track mud in the house when you knew you were having family over for a dinner party that was planned a week ago. While Taylor was making preparations, you were at work all day and would come home exhausted. Although you were tired, you still wanted to help Taylor and you were prepared to once you had shut the front door behind you. As you walk inside, you find her and offer a smile in which she had returned. But shortly after, the smile drops from her face when she notices the mud stuck to the floor she had cleaned not too long ago.

She went from a happy Taylor, to an angry one in a blink of an eye. As you grew concerned of her facial expression, you were about to ask her what was wrong but she had already beaten you to it.

"Y/n, I've been on hands and knees cleaning this house and less than five minutes, you turn it into a zoo with I don't know if that is mud or shit on your shoes. What the hell is wrong with you? You know damn well you have to take your shoes off before you enter, that rule isn't just for everyone you know?"

Thoughts couldn't process on what to say, you stared at her in shock as she had never spoken to you in that way before.

"Oh, Taylor! I'm so sorry! I truly am! I had a busy day and it was not a very pleasant day and I completely forgotten. I'll take my shoes off and set them outside, than I'll come back and mop the mud off the floor."

"No, just take the shoes off! I'll do the rest myself!"

"Taylor, no. Please let me help-"

"You have done enough help! If that's even what you want to call it!! Just do what I said and I'll do the rest!"

"Tay-"

"NOW!!! God, sometimes I hate you!"

The words were now stuck in your throat, as that made you feel a pang at your heart and you begin to feel it drop in the pit of your stomach before you decided on what to say to her.

"Okay."

Now that it has been quite of amount a timing ago, since your argument with Taylor, she had been growing concerned the longer you didn't return and decided to look for you.

When she saw your caked mud shoes in the grass next to the patio, she figured you'd be out there somewhere. Taylor pulls open the glass door and steps out, she than spots you on the swing with your back facing towards her and your head hanging low. This had added onto the guilt she was already feeling and was determined to make things right. As much right as she could, anyway. After what she had said to you, knowing what she said to you, knowing the hurt she had caused you, had caused her own self hurt.

You jumped a little when you felt her unexpected embrace around you, pulling you close.

You remained still and that was a relieve for Taylor because she was afraid that you'd push her away and despite everything she had said to you, she didn't want you to do that. A few more minutes of silence tick by before she finally speaks.

"You don't have to say anything, just listen and I'll do the talking." You lean your head back and rested it against her chest as a response for her to go on.

Taylor begins to give you an explanation as she runs her fingers lightly through your hair.

"There are no words to describe how sorry I am for snapping at you earlier. It was uncalled for, if I could travel back in time and take it all back, I would. But since that is out of the question, there isn't anything that says I can't try to make it up to you. Do you think you could forgive me, Y/n?"

Moving your head away, you look into her eyes and nod.

"Yes."

It was an a whispered hushed tone, but it was clear enough for her to hear. Again, you let yourself fall back as she pulls you into another warm embrace and begins playing with your hair once more.

"Tell me, what can I do to make this up to you? To make this all better?"

"Well..."
