⚠️ mentions of needles ⚠️

You were out shopping with Selena Gomez and your girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

It was that time of year for you to get your flu shot. Taylor and Selena came with you, not that you were afraid of needles or anything because you're not, but because you three had planned a fun day of shopping and lunch together. Flu shots first, lunch was next, and than the shopping was the last activity. Taylor had suggested that you get your shots done at Costco, as of that was where Taylor got hers with Selena. Since they both have gotten them done, it was now your turn, and you agreed that Costco was probably the best place to get your shots done.

Now it was your turn.

Needles never had bothered you; but you still didn't like the idea of them. It was one of the most common fears and that fear didn't hit you. The fear that stuck with you, however, was of heights. You feared heights more than almost anything else that was there to be afraid of. You knew Selena had the fear of needles, but she never showed it. She pulls through it like a trooper.

The wait wasn't too long, you were seated in the chair they had provided you and the three of you chatted along as you waited.

When they finally sent someone out to give you the shot, you were ready. You relaxed the arm you knew was going to be used and continued talking to the girls and soon, the pharmacist.

"Oh! That's cold!" You say, as he used the alcohol wipe on your shoulder. He just laughs with the girls.

When it was ready to go, you didn't move at all, even when you felt that slight pinch when the medicine was injected in you.

"You're all set." The pharmacist announced.

"Thank you." You say, you stood up after your band aid was placed over where you got your shot and the shopping had begun.

Lunch was supposed to be first, but you wanted to look around the store for a moment to see if they had what you were looking for; and to your luck, they did! You picked it up and the three of you started to make your way to pay for your items.

You went to the little food court and grabbed a snack as well before hitting the road.

So as you walked out of the store, you walked out with an electric blanket and a strawberry smoothie.
