Nandini reached her lab and was just sitting on her desk discussing all the possible outcomes if the weather doesn't got any better
When peon came
Peon : nandini mam this is a letter for you
Nandini : keep it on the table. I will check it later. Thank you
Peon : ok mam
Peon left the letter on the table and Nandini made guided her team for further plan of action and ended the meeting . As soon as she picked up the letter to read her phone rang displaying Manik . She instantly picked up the phone
Manik : heyy barfi kaise ho ?
Nandini : I am fine Manik
Manik : meri barfi ne kuch khaya ?
Nandini : Manik I don't feel like eating anything .
Manik : aree no this is not done ... Dekho you have work and I don't want to disturb you but agar aap aisa karoge to I will be forced to come there and feed you
Nandini : no ....no Manik please don't come here . Main kha rhi hun
Manik : I will order your favourite biryani ...have that . Barfii you need strength to fight back and apko pata hai na you get sick if you skip your meals
Nandini : hmm order for yourself too aap bhi kha lo
Manik : hmmm . Everything will be fine . Trust yourself
Nandini : hmmm you know what I love you . You complete me

With this Manik ended the call and immediately ordered the biryani from nandini's favourite hotel for both himself and Nandini

Nandini : Manik who are you giving this assurance to yourself or to me because as far as I am concerned I think 99.4 fever is not at all a cause for concern
Manik : ( almost shouting ) Cause of concern ... It is a big issue ....what if the fever gets high ... What if your headache increases...... You will have to endure so much pain ....
Nandini : aree baba don't think so much . It is a normal fever Manik why are you getting so stressed about a trivial thing
Manik : Trivial thing? No Nandini it is not a trivial thing for me . Tumhein pain hoga to pata mujhe kitna pain hogaaa ..do you know how much I will feel bad

Manik palmed his head on his stupid response and thought while playing with his paperweight
Manik : ( to himself) ( smilling like an idiot) What a idiot I was back then to not tell her that I love her . Maybe I didn't told her because I myself didn't realise it till I was 18 . I knew that I cared for her deeply and my soul aches with her little pain but still at that young age I think I couldn't name it as love . But still I always loved her . Mera pyara barfiii
Here in ISRO office, Nandini ordered a coffee for herself and was opening the letter which she received in the morning but kritika called her for a meeting and she left taking her coffee with her
The biryani was delivered to the office but nandini was busy in the meeting and the delivery boy who had strict instructions from Manik to not leave until he handover the package to Nandini and sees her eating was waiting for Nandini to come out of the meeting
Being tired of waiting her called Manik assistant who he was coordinating with
Delivery boy : sir sorry to disturb you but mam is not here and I have been waiting for her since 1.5 hours . Could you please guide with further plan of action .
Manik assistant : I am transferring your call to Manik sir . You please have a word with him
Manik's assistant said to the delivery boy as he clearly know manik's over protectiveness regarding everything related to Nandini
Delivery boy : good morning Manik sir , Delivery boy from the Biryani express
Manik : have you delivered the package to Nandini .
Manik said on the phone still engrossed in his file
Delivery boy : no sir I have been waiting for 1.5 hours but mam is busy in a meeting
Manik immediately looked at his watch to find the time to be 4:00 clock of afternoon seeing which he got panicked but calming himself said
Manik : leave the package there with a peon . Thank you for waiting tell my assistant to give you a tip .
Delivery boy : thank you sir
With this Manik closed his file and hanged the call and immediately called his assistant inside
Manik : I am leaving for Nandini's office . Reschedule my all meeting for the later part of the day and issue a apology and tip from my side to The biryani express delivery boy. Poor guy had to wait for 1.5 hours
Manik's Assistant : ok sir . Will you be able to attend the buisness summit in the evening
Manik : ya ya that is a dinner party right I will be there . Just contact my designer and arrange a tuxedo . I will definitely attend the buisness summit
Manik's assistant : ok sir
With this Manik moved out and sat in the car murmuring
Manik : kya karu is ladki ka main . She will spoil her health in all of this chaos . Mai jake jabtak khilaunga nhi madam khana nhi khaegi . Barfii your monster is now very angry . How dare you keep my teeny weeny baby hungry till 4:00 clock
