Chapter 5

2 weeks later and Taehyung had tried not to pay attention to the ways his best friend changed but it was too obvious.

Jimin hadn't stopped hanging out with Jungkook, dispite telling him that Taehyung knew they weren't dating, not only that, but when they would hang out Jimin wouldn't sit as close to Taehyung as he used.

He wouldn't touch him as much, and he seemed really distant, something Taehyung didn't like.

While Jimin was busy changing himself Taehyung couldn't help but think about Jimin, and it wasn't just because he was changing but because he had found out he liked him.

For some people finding out your best friend likes you won't change a thing, while for others it changes the way you see them slightly.

And Taehyung just so happened to be part of the others, everytime he thought of the fact that Jimin liked him he couldn't help but smile.

It made him happy, the only problem was that he wasn't sure if it was a good thing.

Some  people would be disgusted if they found out their best friend liked them, some wouldn't care, while others like Taehyung would actually like it.

Though Taehyung would never admit it. Even if he could, which currently had been feeling like he couldn't do.

Jimin and him had been arguing alot about Jungkook, Taehyung wasn't happy with Jimin constantly hanging out with Jungkook and canceling his plans.

It had been a little over a week since they had last met up.

And today Taehyung had enough, instead of asking Jimin to hang out after work on monday, a day that Jimin worked without Taehyung.

When Jimin walked out, Taehyung thought about marching up to him and going off about how he didn't send enough time with him.

But....as soon as he saw his face all his anger that had built up instantly disappeared as he sighed slowly making his way over to Jimin.

"Oh! Taehyung? What are you doing here?" Jimin asked a smile making it's way to his face "I came to pick you up, and ask my it feels like your totally ignoring me" Taehyung said as the two began walking.

"Did I do something wrong?" He added before Jimin could speak "no. You didn't do anything wrong, I've just been hanging out with Jungkook alot recently, he's alot of fun you know, even if he's not my boyfriend he's a great friend" Jimin smiled.

That smile disappeared when he noticed Taehyung had stopped walking "can't you just hang out with me? I knew you before him, so why is it like I'm the new friend? Before you used to talk about us and only him when I asked, but now you just talk about him, even when we met up before you just talked about him" Taehyung said he stared hard at the floor.

He knew he shouldn't be feeling this way, he knew his eyes shouldn't have been watering, he knew he shouldn't have continued but he couldn't help it his heart hurt to much to stop.

"Why does it feel like your running away, I know I shouldn't bring this up, but you said you liked me, I don't know why I was happy, but now I just wish you never told me, because it feels like your far away, I wish I never went shopping that day, then I would still have you, I would still have the Min, that I know" Taehyung said he slowly looked up at Jimin's speechless expression.

"Tae... I'm sorry, I'll try to hang out with you more" Jimin said walking over to the younger to hug him but Taehyung pushed him away "I'm still upset with you" he said walking off.

"Taehyung, I'm sorry what do you want me to do?" Jimin asked walking after him "stop talking about Jungkook and just be yourself, start actually sitting next to me and stop being weird just... Just love me the way you love me..."

"Taehyung, you shouldn't say things like that, it's not nice to hear that your happy that I like you when you don't feel the same, It makes it harder to move on" Jimin sighed.

"I never said I don't like you, I just said I've never seen you in that light, but anyways, do you wanna come over to my house and watch a movie?" Taehyung asked complete changing the subject in the same breath.

"Wait so do you like me or not?" Jimin asked "are we watching the movie or not?" Taehyung asked. Knowing he wouldn't get a reply to his question Jimin gave up and nodded his head.

20 minutes later and Taehyung was sitting on his couch, waiting for Jimin to come out of the bathroom so they could watch the movie.

And after about 3 minutes Jimin finally came out and sat down on the couch making sure to leave some space in-between the boys.

Though unfortunately for him, Taehyung wasn't having it and pulled Jimin closer to him, of course that was after he rolled his eyes.

"Stop being weird" Taehyung said playing the movie, Jimin was glad they were in a dim room and his blush wouldn't shin that bright.

Taehyung's hand that he had placed on Jimin's waist didn't move once throughout the whole movie, something Jimin couldn't help but smile at as he rested his head in Taehyung's shoulder.

Surprisingly Jimin didn't fall asleep and even made it through to the end. Although even when the movie was over the two didn't bother moving.

That was untill Jimin called Taehyung making him look at Jimin, only then did they realise how close they were.

Dispite calling Taehyung, Jimin couldn't remember how to speak as he admired Taehyung's beautiful face, and it was as if Taehyung couldn't either. Since neither of them said a word.

Their eyes keeping contact untill Taehyung glanced down at Jimin's lips before looking back up at Jimin, the memories of Jimin soft lips on his rushing to the front of his mind as his cheeks brightened.

He didn't even realize he was leaning into Jimin untill he felt their noses touch, there was no going back now.

When their lips touched, Taehyung felt his heart beating faster than ever before. His hand made it's way to Jimin's left cheek.

Taehyung was the first to take the kiss to the next step, slowly moving his lips against Jimin, who responded almost immediately.

Jimin liked kissing Taehyung, his lips were soft but rough at the same time, and kissing him felt so right, but so wrong at the same time, they were best friends.

But Jimin didn't care enough to push Taehyung off, and instead pulled him closer.
