A few 10 years before the present,
Kei and his mom went to the pet shop to get a pet for Kei. Kei roamed around the small pet shop looking for a pet and he found one. It was a Neko with a black spot at the left part of its eye and the rest of its fur was (hair color). The tail was weird but Kei still liked it.
The cat was always by Kei's side and later was introduced to Yamaguchi, Kei's friend. They spend time together. When Kei knew the truth of his brother, he lost his true self, (m. name) noticed but Kei's persona didn't change to the cat.

The present,
(m. name) in his human form was listening to music while reading Kei's manga. He also had the same black spot that was by its eye and had a bandage on its wrist when he was in his cat form and got thorned by a rose bush. (m. name) didn't know that Kei will be coming back early and speaking of Kei, why won't we look at what he's doing.
Kei was walking home alone and hearing some music from his room. His eyebrow raised and went into the house, making sure he didn't make a sound on his way to his room. He silently opened the door, to see a male turning into his cat. He opened the door fully and squinted his eyes to the cat.
Kei approached the cat and sat on the floor. Kei said "(m. name), are you hiding something?" and the cat nodded with a small meow. The cat turned into its human form and looked down. "Have you been like this since I first owned you?" Kei asked while putting his bag at the side.
"Y-yes" (m. name) said with sadness laced in his voice and his eye was watering. Kei asked, "Why?" "My Father and Mother kicked me out of the demon world to the human world. I started finding a home but I've just been abused with some of my owners back then. So when you owned me, I decided to hide the truth from you because you might kick me out...".
Then, (m. name) just felt a hand on his fuzzy and soft hair. Kei said "Why would I kick you out, if you were there by my side, there to comfort me when my days are blue" and (m. name)'s ears perked up. (m. name)'s tears started to fall on his cheeks and hugged the tall male.
"Thank you.." (m. name) mumbled while taking in Kei's smell

They started to date each other and cuddle every night. Eventually, Kei told Yamaguchi about (m. name)'s secret.
