Next morning practice.

"Your not going to try that triple axel without my permission right?"
My coach says.

"I won't..."
I respond.

"Alright, now get on the ice and start practicing, sooner or later you'll be in competition."

"Yes sir."

I get on the ice as quickly as I could and start to practice my routine.

All my routines have been elegant, but... This one is extra special and elegant.

This routine is going to be game changing. It's not normal to see people my age do routines like this.

But, who knows...

Maybe my opponents are better than me by a lot?

This is only my motivation to strive to do better than everyone else in the rink..

I KNOW I'll do better than everyone.

"What are you doing, you look stupid"
Sounghoon shouts at me.

I started zoning out I guess...

BUT I DIDN'T LOOK STUPID THATS FOR SURE.

I just roll my eyes at him and keep practicing.

Since not all 4 people can use the rink at the same time, we take turns, or go two at a time. We use it all at once for warming up.

It was sunghoons turn to use the rink by himself...

I had to sit down and watch.

Because coach said I should learn something from watching sunghoons routines.

He's just a pretty face , that's annoying, and thinks he's great at figure skating

He's nothing more..

I zone out when I watched his routine...

I didn't pay attention, it's not like it's anything special.

Sunghoon finished his routine.

The girls cheer and clap for him excitedly.

That's embarrassing.

"Sunghoon you did good! Can you do that one more time? Eunbin wasn't paying attention."
My coach told Sunghoon.

Sunghoon starts his routine again

So far his routine is pretty mediocre... Not much..

Suddenly... He did a simple flip jump, I can do it well.

But I usually make it look slow and elegant, but sunghoon Made it look powerful. That simple jump looked difficult.

There's something about sunghoons performance that made even the smallest details stand out.
