3. Madness

Buttercup pov:
I can't believe that I just kissed Arc!
Oh gosh! Oh gosh! Oh gosh! Oh gosh!
Sage looked at me when I got back at the Krakensquad room.
"Where have you been?"
"Nowhere..."
I picked up my book with happy things and drew the moment that I kissed Arc.
What would he think? Would he actually like me back?
I hide my happy stuff book and prepared for tomorrow, if Arc and I would train again...

Sage and I walked to the lake and saw that Warwick and Arc were walking from the other side.
"Hey losers. Training again?" Sage asked.
Warwick looked at Arc.
"Are you sure, sir Gareth said-"
"I'm fine. Don't worry." Arc said.
"Good." Sage said and she pushed me towards him.
"We should go train..." I muttered as I stepped back.
"Yea..."
Arc didn't seem to comfortable too.

I didn't even dare to attack him.
What if I'd hurt him again.
"I'm not made of glass." Arc said with a smirk after some time.
"I know..." I said and I avoided his gaze.
We continued fighting and training and needed a break after a few hours.
Arc held his hand against his head.
"Ey bro, are you okay?" Warwick asked.
"Yea sure..." Arc said.
Sage looked at me.
"You should've beat him harder."
"Why?"
"Less competition."
I looked at Sage and shoke my head.
"That's not fair."
"So?"
"Knights are fair."
"Boringgg."
Arc looked at Warwick.
"Hey dude, you know what would be great with this heath?"
"What?"
"Swimming in the lake instead of training."
"Ha! Weak idiots. Get back here magic loser so we can train."
Arc looked at me.
"What would you say?"
"You'd better train Buttercup. Since you're stuck to that loser." Sage said.
I looked away.
"I need to go... We'll train later." and I ran into the forest.
I could see that Warwick and Sage started to train but Arc took off his shirt and pants and went into the lake for swimming like he said.
I smiled.
Seeing him like this was way better then like yesterday when he was still bleeding.

Arc pov:
Okay, I should've went after Buttercup to talk to her and all but I couldn't. Not after yesterday.
And then I mean the kissing part...
Warwick and Sage were training while I was just swimming in the lake.
I saw that Buttercup stood in the forest, a few yards away watching me.
I grinned as I swim her direction.
"Enjoying the view?"
She startled and fell in the lake.
I grabbed her wrist as I saw that she didn't start to swim.
I pulled her up the surface and looked at her.
"You can't swim?"
She coughed.
"N- no..."
I swam to the coast and Buttercup wrenched her clothes.
"Great... Soaking wett..."
I put on my shirt and pants and gave her my jacket.
"Here, otherwise you'll get cold."
She accepted it and looked at me.
"Thanks..."
So there we sat.
Alone.
Quiet.
We looked at each other and we knew what happend.
We kissed and I pulled her close.
"Arc..." she said softly.
"Buttercup..."
I kissed her again and I felt that she smiled.
Then she pulled away.
"You... You..."
"I what?"
"I love you..."
I grinned.
"I love you too."
"No! We can't! We shouldn't!"
"What?"
"You're a feniks and I'm a kraken. We shouldn't..."
"C'mon Buttercup..."
"I need to go..." and she ran off.
I sighed.
"What just happend?"
I shoke my head and decided to go back to the squad room.

Ciara grinned.
"Someone had some fun."
Okay my cheeks were pretty red but I ignored her.
"How was it with Buttercup?" Prudy said with a smirk.
"Wha-?" I said and I was terrified.
Did those two know?!
Ciara burst out in laughing.
"Relax. We're just teasing."
I sighed with relief.
No one should know about me and Buttercup. Well... It's not like there is an us anyway...
