The story has been inspired by several Korean dramas even if it's based on the Tale of the Nine-tailed it won't follow the original plot blindly. There is a trope I liked from Secretary Kim which I used and of course, Yeon Seo's past life is inspired by the iconic Korean drama Goblin.
After watching season 2 of the show I will possibly make certain changes when it comes to the second lead couple.
