"Yah, vanilla or chocolate?"

Eyes focusing on the display, Haneul pointed at chocolate cake. "Choco."

"Okay, I'll pay. Why don't you find some seats for us?" Eric suggested.

Haneul nodded and walked away in search of seats but she felt something strange. Why do I feel something weird?

Awhile later, Eric came back with a tray of cake and glasses of plain water.

"How much?" Haneul asked as Eric passed a spoon to her.

Eric shrugged. "I'm not telling you." He stuck out his tongue playfully.

Haneul snorted a laugh then scooped the cake and put it into her mouth. "It's nice." She nodded to herself as she savoured. "I still owe you a treat by the way." She reminded her boyfriend.

He shook his head instead. "No no, I'm not letting you to do that. I'm a man." He then started eating the cake as well.

"Man should at least keep his words. You told me you wanted the treat instead..?" She tilted her head as she looked at him.

He cleared his throat, avoiding her gaze. "Did I say that? I guess I did..." He said in his lowered voice.

She stifled a laugh at his reactions as she continued eating, bit by bit.

"Yah, eat more." Eric said as he cut the cake and shoved the bigger portion to the birthday girl.

"Let me savour the cake, geez." Haneul scrunched her nose. "And, did you just call me 'yah'??" She finally took notice of her boyfriend dropping formalities with her.

Eric blinked his eyes as he was taken aback. "I did?" He played dumb. Haneul just eyed him which he finally gave in. "I was just singing." He gave an excuse.

"What song?" She questioned back.

"The stealer. Have you heard? It's really goood!" Eric hyped up and began to sing the song. "I'm the stealer, yah~" He ended with a wink.

Haneul pressed her lips firmly, speechless at her own boyfriend. "It's a really good song to call the older ones 'yah' you mean?"

Eric cheekily grinned as he made a peace sign with his fingers. "Speaking about it, which one do you prefer?"

"Noona." Haneul answered without hesitation.

Eric tilted his head in confusion. "Why?"

She shrugged. "Cause you're the only one who call me that and I'm quite fond of it." She answered as she focused on eating the cake.

"Oh... Alright then, but I might start calling you by your name." He stuck out his tongue.

She laughed yet again. "Sure, my dear boyfriend." She teased which caught him by surprise.

He blushed at the sudden affection. "Oh my..."

Just then, Kevin called which saved Eric from showing too much of his shyness.

"I said I don't wanna see you tonight, Kevin." Haneul sternly said without even saying 'hi'.

Kevin laughed nervously. "Oh come on~ At least you're together with Eric now right?"

Haneul was baffled. "W-wait. Hold up. You guys planned all of this together???" She eyed her boyfriend who was casually eating.

"Obviously! Me and Juyeon are still gaming. Wanna join???" Kevin said.
