Chapter 21(Dinner)

Xyrill's POV

Nakaupo na ako ngayon sa sofa, sa loob ng Crux. Crux pala ang name nitong space ship na ginagamit namin papunta sa Earth. The same ship they used to get me. The only difference is that hindi na ako nakakulong sa isang kwarto. Ngayon ko nga lang din napansin na parang nasa high-class na airplane lang ako.

"Why Asher didn't come with us?" Tanong ko kay Ofroi na nasa gilid ko. Pinapaupo ko naman siya kaso ayaw niya. Nasa duty daw siya ngayon.

"The Prince has a lot of things to do Lady Xyrill. Since he is also a Viceroy of Feher." Viceroy? Kaya pala minsan lagi siyang wala.

But still, I thought he would come with us. O baka dahil nakuha na rin naman niya ko kaya hindi na siya sumama samin. Sure naman silang hindi ako patatakasin ng mga Knights na kasama ko.

Ngayon ko lang din pala nalaman na lahat silang kasama ko ay mga Knights. Basically they're the protector of the Emperor and the Empire.

Mga 6 hours pa lang ang nakalipas nang umalis kami sa Sacania. Sabi ni Ofroi sakin it will take 80 hours to arrive at Earth, kaya matagal pa kami dito. Pero hindi pa kami d-diretso sa Earth gamit ang Crux. Baka kasi ma-detect yung Crux ng mga satellites na nakakalat sa Solar System.

"Can I ask where are the other Knights?" Tanong ko ulit kay Ofroi.

"Probably they're in the main control room." Katamad naman kausap si Ofroi masyadong strict sa rules na binigay ni Sir Eguzki na bantayan lang ako.

I steal a glance at Ofroi. Tingin ko nasa middle age na siya. Na-curios tuloy ako sa edad niya. Sila Leif nga na mukha pang bata pero mga nasa 40-45 years old na, paaano pa kaya yung iba?

"Ofroi, if you don't mind me asking. How old are you?" Halata naman na medyo nagulat siya sa tanong ko.

He chuckled. "I'm living for 92 years"

Napanganga naman ako. Kung sa Earth yan malamang ugod-ugod na siya. But for a man who's in his middle age he is still good looking. I mean lahat naman ata ng nasa Sacania ay gwapo't maganda. Nakailang sabi na ako nito pero gwapo't maganda talaga silang lahat.

Teka? Kung 92 years old na siya, paano pa kaya si Sir Eguzki?

Napailing naman ako sa naisip ko. Stop it Xyrill, it's rude to ask someone's age.

Nabalot uli kami sa katahimikan, hindi naman magsasalita si Ofroi hangga't hindi ko siya kinakausap.

"Uhmm. Ofroi? Can you tell me more about the Somniator?" Mukhang napaisip naman siya sa tanong ko.

"There's a lot to talk about if your asking for the whole history of the Somniator. But I suggest to go to the Aes Sìdhe. Where the Somniator lived before they went extinct" Parang hayop naman ang Somniator na nawala na lang.

Ako naman ngayon ang napaisip.

Aes Sìdhe? I think I've heard that before. I just can't remember when.

"If you request. I'll tell the Emperor if you want to visit Aes Sìdhe" Kinabahan naman ako sa sinabi ni Ofroi. Kabado na nga ako dito sa request kong bumalik sa Earth, tapos may hihirit pa ako.

"I don't think that's a good idea hehe" Mahina kong sagot kay Ofroi.

"Why? I think there's a news that the Elders of Aes Sìdhe wanted to talk to you" Elders?

Mukhang napansin naman ni Ofroi ang pagkunot ng noo ko. "They're the people who preserved whatever left of Somniator. So I'm sure you will know a lot of things there" Tumango na lang ako sa sinabi ni Ofroi.

Maybe I should ask Asher for that.
