The next morning we boarded a flight back to San Francisco bright and early. On the plane I sat in between Kiara and George, we talked about everything but the Superbowl. The three of us were actually laughing and having a good time, surprisingly enough.
Jimmy sat by himself in the back of the jet, we still haven't talked since I left out hotel room last night. I peaked back at him every so often, his eyes were glued out the window of the jet. I could tell he was lost in thought as I turned around my phone suddenly went off, I got a text from Jimmy.
Jimmy G🥵: Come sit with me? I wanna talk.
I read the text from my lock screen before locking my phone and looking over at Kiara and George.
"I'm gonna go sit with Jimmy, he just texted me." I whispered to the two hoping none of the players around me could hear.
"Go." Kiara answered with a happy smile as I stood up, heading to the aisle.
"Good luck." George whispered smartly before shooting me a wide smile and giving me a thumbs up. I laughed and rolled my eyes at him as I walked to the back of the plane and sat in the open seat beside Jimmy.
"Hey." I said with a straight face, not knowing what turn this conversion would take.
"I wanna apologize for how I acted last night. I was frustrated and angry, and it was wrong of me to treat you that way." Jimmy said seriously before smiling slightly.
"It's okay, I figured you needed some space after the press being all up in your face after the game." I answered Jimmy with a sweet smile.
"How is it that you know me so well?" Jimmy asked as he tucked a piece of hair behind my ear.
"Well, we've kinda known each other for a long time Jimmy." I answered while smiling happily, Jimmy smiled right back before leaning in to kiss me on the lips.
When our lips touched, our tongues immediately entered each other's mouths. Jimmy was such a good kisser, he always left me wanting more.
"In my eyes you'll always be a winner." I whispered to Jimmy when we pulled away from our kiss.
"I love you so much baby." Jimmy confessed with a smile.
"I love you too.." I replied with a wide smile while still looking up at Jimmy, waiting for him to finish our phrase.
"Forever and always." Jimmy replied with a smile as he put an arm around me, pulling me close. I snuggled up next to Jimmy and slept on him for the rest of the plane ride home.
We all finally landed back in San Francisco at two in the afternoon. The teams morale was still in the toilet, even Jimmy's. The difference was he just wasn't being a dick about it anymore.
One thing was for sure, I wasn't gonna ask Jimmy about it again. The Superbowl was still an extremely sore subject, and I didn't wanna force Jimmy into talking about it if he wasn't ready.
