When Mai switched off her radio, her Paris apartment went quiet. She sat down to finish eating the lobster, which her husband jokingly called the Last Supper.
Offering her last prayer, she hoped her father helped her mother to understand the reason Mai had to kill her husband before his mission to assassinate Ho Chi Minh.
Poisoned dinner was her father's plan, after all.
