"Knock,Knock,Knock"

Were the sound the echoed through the room moomintroll and snufkin were in. Moomintroll groaned and sat up wiping his eyes.
"Snufkin... someone at the door" moomintroll said pushing snufkin. Snufkin groans and turned on his side
"Okay..." Snufkin said putting his hand on moomintroll's thigh. Moomintroll rolled his eyes and crawled off the bed. He pulled down his sweater and walked to the door and opened it.
"Oh good morning is snufkin awake?" Luke said leaning on the door frame.
Moomintroll looked at snufkin who was laying on his stomach and looked at luke
"Yeah he's awake come in" moomintroll said moving to the side to let luke in. Snufkin sat up to see moomintroll closing the door and Luke walking in.

I sat up to see luke standing to the side of the bed and moomintroll walking back to the bed
"Sorry to bug you both but someone came here and told me to give you this" Luke said handing me two letters one for moomintroll from his parents and one for me with no name on it.
"Thank you luke" I said opening the letter. Luke nodded and walked out the room, Moomintroll was already reading the letter from his parents and smiling, I took a deep breathe before unfolding the letter
 
       Dear Snufkin
I hope this letter finds you well

I just wanted so see how you were doing well before you stopped stealing stuff and leaving me out of it and I see you got your boyfriend with you my man. Anyways I'll be around when you get to where your going I wanna catch up on old times

I felt sick to my stomach reading that letter but I tried to remember that person, I felt the bed shift I looked over to see moomintroll putting back on his overalls
"Well come on snufkin we better get going" Moomintroll said putting the letter in the front of him bag. I nodded and folded the letter.

After thanking Luke we made own way North. Following the trail that lead to a frozen lake
"This maybe a easier way to walk but will also be difficult"
I said looking at moomintroll, he smiled and took out viper
"We could ride viper" moomintroll said putting viper on the icy lake. I sighed but nodded as we climbed on viper, flying over the frozen lake past the trees,caves and frozen waterfall before out of no where a arrow flew past us. "WHAT WAS THAT?!" Moomintroll yelled as viper shakily flew pass the arrows before getting shot on the wing with a spear.

Viper begun flying to the ground snufkin was lost after the fall same with moomintroll and viper. Moomintroll sat up groaning in pain screaming feeling a sharp pain in his arm. Pulling out an arrow yelling and swearing as he had it, using his sweater sleeve as a temporary bandages. He then stood up and looked around seeing nothing but the empty forest
"S-SNUFKIN!! VIPER!!" He yelled holding his arms leaping down the forest but heard nothing feeling tears running down his face but saw viper laying on the floor bleed out light purple blood
"VIPER?!" Moomintroll yelled running to viper falling to his knees, viper was still in his carrier dragon form but looked weak.
"D-Don't worry I'll save you..."
Moomintroll said ripping the other sleeve of his sweater and looked at the arrow that was in viper's wing and leg
"Viper this may hurt do you trust me...?" Moomintroll said looking in viper's dull eyes, viper gave him a small nod. Moomintroll smiled and begun breaking the end of the arrow and pulled it through which caused viper to roar in pain. Grabbing the sleeve and ripped it around viper's leg same for the wing
"

There but snufkin.... he's out there somewhere..." Moomintroll said leaning on viper, viper gave a sad growl and cover moomintroll with his wing
