"I can't do this anymore, Lisa."
I gave up on you. I gave up on us. But you? You were strong. You fought for us. You fought yourself for us. You fought the disease. For me, for us. I never knew I would regret it this bad. Guilt, realisation, regret, sadness, hopelessness. It doesn't matter if these emotions take control of my life. I let go of my life long ago.
All I'm left with is the memories we created and I'm gonna hold them until I breathe my last. I want you to know, Lisa, I love you. I really do. After all those black clouds clear, I'll be able to see you one last time.
I won't ask for anything else. I just want to see you one last time. I'll fade with time then. I wanna see your smile. I wanna see you happy. After the pain I put you through, you need rest, Lisa. You need to rest because you've worked hard.
Pat yourself; you should be proud of yourself. I don't ask anything from you. I want you to be happy wherever you are. I'll visit you tomorrow. I'll move on — for you. But I want you see you one last time before I do that.
