Chapter 11

"Hey baby can you believe it's almost Halloween?! Maybe you'll wake up by then" said Tony. It has been 2 months since the "Civil War" in Leipzig. Everything that happened with Spencer was what made the fighting stop bringing The Avengers back together once more stronger than ever before. A strange sound brought Tony out of his thoughts he looked over to where it was coming from. It was Spencer fighting the ventilator! Seeing this Tony jumped up and hit the call button. Bruce and Helen came running,"Tony! What's going on?" To which Tony replied ,"I think Spencer is fighting the ventilator!" Bruce and Helen saw that he was right. After they removed the ventilator Tony leaned down and kissed Spencer's chapped lips and said,"Happy Halloween baby I love you." It was about 2 weeks later during Peter's field trip to the Tower that something wonderful happened. A pair of beautiful chocolate brown eyes opened for the first time in months to a strange but familiar place. He looked around trying to figure out where he was. The room was beautiful,"this must be Tony's doing" he thought then looked down at himself seeing casts on different parts of his body. He couldn't remember what had happened to him but before he could think of anything the door opened and a nurse came in,"Oh you're awake! I'll go get the doctor" and left. A few minutes later a female doctor came in,"hello Spencer I'm Dr Helen Cho it's good to see you awake. How are you feeling?" "So-ore" " I expected that and we'll get you some ice chips for your throat in a moment. Would you like for me to get Tony for you?" Spencer nodded. "Alright I'll be back with Tony soon."
