I'm not remorseful,
I just miss you.
I'm not sorry,
I won't say so,
I don't have to.
It's just that you were once
The epitome of joy in my life
The one I craved for the most
The one I almost died for.
Nobody has taken your place
And in my heart there's an empty space.
That's why I cry.
That's the only reason why
I want to know
How you're doing
How things are going
And where you're heading.
Maybe I regret
Refusing to look at your face
And gazing into your beautiful brown eyes
And watching your face light up
As your lips smile wide.
But though I'm not remorseful,
I still miss you.
