"I know I'm apart of the pack and all but are you sure the elders want me to come tonight?" Mingan had asked for the millionth time as she helped Emily cook the desserts for the bond fire.

"Yes," Sam answered from the table as he glanced up from the newspaper looking more like the dad of the pack like always. "How many times does he have to say that?" Emily asked chuckling softly at how nervous Mingan was being.

Mingan couldn't help but sigh as she pouted at the thought of the elders. Ever since they found out she was a witch they had been skeptical of her even though she has done nothing but help the pack.

"Who cares about the elders" Paul called out from the couch as he watched the current football game that was playing on the tv. "Yeah you're family and apart of the pack whether they like it or not" Jared then joined in as he sat on the ground eating chips that were on the coffee table.

"I don't even understand why they hate you" Seth muttered as he stood beside Mingan being the only shifter and boy to help with cooking. "You're an amazing person. They're totally missing out." He continued as he looked up towards Mingan with a smile.

Mingan's nerves dropped and her body melted at the younger boy's words. Awwing Mingan turned her head before leaning up to kiss him on the cheek. "You're so sweet. Your imprint will be lucky to have you."

Seth smiled turning slightly red at the compliment but nonetheless nodded his head in thanks. Mingan was the only one in the house who had actually seen him as a grown boy that could take care of himself. So hearing her say that made him really happy.

"Ooohh Lookout Embry Seth's trying to get your girl" Elike's voice was suddenly heard as she entered the house with Leah trailing behind her. Embry, who was laying on the ground in front of the coffee table, sat up as quickly as he could.

"Hands off my woman!" Embry yelled now standing in front of the tv as he pointed towards where Seth stood. Cause of this not only did Paul and Jared shout out for him to sit down Sam did too.

Seth stood there trying not to smile since he knew that Embry was just playing -the boy was trying not to smile but failing terribly- Mingan was playfully sticking her tongue out at her lover as she pulled Seth into her arms.

"Never!" Mingan stated jokingly just as Elike and Leah both laughed watching the scene play out. Emily was still cooking smiling as she listened to the pack fight and play around. Quil was nowhere to be seen since he actually was laying in the guest room holding his new imprint, Claire, Emily's niece, in his arms as she slept.

He wasn't sleeping so he could hear the rest of his pack and he couldn't help but smile since he couldn't think about anywhere else he would rather be. The pack was family to everyone and everyone loves one other even with their problems. It was just like any other packs. A family.

Feeling much better than she was earlier Mingan was helping place all the desserts onto the table that held the food. "Is he really bringing her?" Elike asked as she stood beside her helping the witch as the others stood away from them around the fire.
