"GINGER, DEAR, WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING UP THERE?" The sudden voice brought the girl out of her concentration of a muggle game called rock, paper, scissors.

She groaned when she lost to her friend for the seventh time in a row, "nothing much, Amos, just hanging around." With her legs securing her on a sturdy branch of a grand tree, she played the hand game with her friend, Cedric, who was sitting on the branch in front of her.

"You're cheating!" she exclaimed at the boy. He pumped his hands in the air at another victory for him. "Rubbish, you're just terrible at the game."

"How the hell could I be terrible at the game I taught you?" she furiously hit her left palm with her right hand in a fist. Cedric won once again and she groaned throwing her head back, forgetting she was on the lovely tree, and she nearly fell off but she latched onto a small twig.

"Arthur, it's about time son!" Amos exclaimed as a group of people approached their spot at the hill. Multiple heads of ginger-red stalked up to them with the addition of two brunettes.

"Sorry Amos, some of us and a sleepy start," Arthur eyed some of the boys in his group when saying part of the excuse as a younger ginger ducked his head at his fathers gaze.

"This is Amos Diggory, everyone. Works with me at the ministry," Arthur introduced Amos to the group of teens. Arthur walked up to Amos giving him a firm handshake, Cedric looked at Ginger and nodded his head in the direction of the ground right before jumping off the tree. Ginger sighed looking at the group of red and jumped down after him.

The Arthur man raised his eyebrows at the duo's entrance and smiled. "This strapping young man must be Cedric, am I right?" The man questioned Cedric to which he replied with a polite nod and smile. He then directed his gaze to Ginger who stood curiously watching a set of twins, "and you must be Ginger? You're even more charming in person," Arthur complimented while kindly shaking her hand.

"Why thank you, Arthur." She smiled at the man, pleased to hear good things about herself. Then pouring her gaze back to the twins she noticed one had already been looking at her. George is what she thought his name had been, or maybe Fred, she hadn't spoken to either of them before but she was aware of their existence around Hogwarts. Striking a close-lipped smile at him, she turned to follow in step with Cedric.

Continuing through the forest, the combined group narrowed in on a hill while the sunset peered over the edge as they circled a boot in the middle of the hill.

"Shall we? We don't want to be late," Amos concluded walking closer to the boot.

"Why are they all standing around that manky old boot?" a boy with glasses spoke out loud.

"That isn't just any old manky boot mate-" "-it's a portkey." The twins finished each other's sentences while lying in the grass and putting their hands on the boot.

Ginger smiled to herself and put her hand next to one of the twins on the boot, after the action she received a pair of brown eyes staring at her with a small smile.

"Time to go. Ready?" Amos put his hand on the boot like everyone else except for the boy with glasses.

"What's a portkey?"

"After three. One..two..."

"Grab on to the bloody boot already!"

In a swift movement, he gripped the old piece of footwear just in the nick of time before a white flash came through. One minute they were secure on the ground, the next they were spiralling through the air. Shouts of excitement complimented the cool air as they all spun rapidly as grins greeted every persons face.

"Let go kids!" Arthur shouted, all of the teens looked at him as if he had grown a beak and feathered wings. One of the girls screamed, pure petrification written all over her face. "Let go!" He repeated once more following his own orders. One by one, all the teens let go of the portkey, screams all followed their flying away bodies.

With a painful crash, everyone had safely landed onto the grassy earth beneath them, and all sighed in their relief of adrenaline. Amos, Arthur, Cedric, and Ginger all came down from the clouds gracefully through like fairies while the fallen group gaped in awe at them.

Arthur fluttered down, "cleared your sinuses, eh?" he asked no one in particular, Ginger had seen the fiery twins laid out on their backs on the grassy plain and sauntered over to them adjusting the zipper of the blue jacket that lay loosely on her body.

While one twin had gotten up, the other had stayed sprawled out on the ground catching his breath. Ginger had taken notice of this and held a hand out to him, "Come on, red," she spoke to him from above, her frame blocking the sunlight in the sky.

Smiling slightly, he kindly took her freckled hand in his, almost instantaneously being brought solidly on his two feet. Sniffling with widened eyes at the overwhelming action, the ginger mumbled a "thanks." The girl nodded and turned to catch up with Cedric and Amos.

His eyes had frozen on the brunettes retreating figure longer than he'd like to admit, mind going blank just trying to find a sense of why he was suddenly fascinated with a girl he barely knew the name of.

He switched his gaze to his double only to be met with a smirk and a pair of eyes darting back and forth between the girl and himself.

The boy rolled his eyes at what his twin was insinuating and followed the group ahead into the crowd of the Quidditch World Cup.
