"There really isn't anything." Crowley remarked, crossing his arms. I only sighed and held my chin. "Not only on the world map, but the name of your home isn't written in any history."
"Hm." I thought. As I had expected, there really was no information about my world in their world. How could this even happen? There's no known nen ability that could do this.
I looked back at Crowley, who was carefully eyeing me. "Are you truly from where you say you are? You aren't lying to me, by any chance?"
"How about this? Clearly, from my display earlier, there is no one you know who is able to do that kind of 'powerful magic' without any magic."
"Also, from what I've observed, you guys haven't any idea of what I'm using to execute those moves." I frowned at him.
Crowley cleared his throat, and looked away. "Looking at all this, you may have somehow been brought here from another planet..."
"There's also the possibility that you're from another world." I shook my head. Seriously.
"You say it with such calmness. It seems kind of sus that you've come to that conclusion without batting an eye to other options." I retorted.
Then again, he was correct. Never have I heard of the land called Twisted Wonderland, or any of those other places we had discussed.
The problem I have is, I can't even remember the name of the world I had lived in, in general. Only the few places I've been too, like where I was born.
The names I had recalled were fuzzing away. The Phantom Troupe.. all I know is that they're the bad guys, and that I had been a part of them.
"Kurapika.." I mumbled, trying to remember what I had seen him look like. Nope. Only a blond man appeared, his back turned on me.
"What was that?" Crowley asked. I shook my head. "Nothing."
"What did you have on you when you came here?" Crowley questioned. "Do you have an identification, like a license for a magic car? Name on a shoe?"
I replied with a 'no.' "You appear to be empty-handed." I sighed for the enth time today. Did he only notice that now?
"This is concerning.. I can't just let someone who can't use magic stay at school. However, as an educator, I can't just throw a penniless teenager out on the street with no form of communication."
"For I am gracious." He smiled. There was something very off about that smile, and no matter how much I try to shake it off, he looks like the man who..
Who what?
Aren't I forgetting a very important piece of information? But if I had forgotten it, it mustn't have been very important.
"...That's right!" Crowley exclaimed. My eyebrows knit together as I stare at the man.
"There is an unused building in the campus. It was once used as a dormitory in the past, so if you clean it up, you should at least be able to sleep there."
He's acting way too suspicious for my taste. A headmaster for a so-called prestigious school, so suddenly inviting a kid he does not know and is clearly dangerous.
Hm. I'll have to keep an eye on him, he might be plotting something.
"For the time being, I shall allow you to stay there!" He spread his arms. "Then I will look for a way for you to return home!"
Home? I scoffed. Even if you could send me back, there is no 'home' I'd be accepted into. Whatever, I'll.. be looking forward to it.
"My graciousness is limitless! I am a model for all educators." Crowley complimented, apparently, himself.
He looked at me, and straightened his back. "We had better be on our way. Let's head to the dormitory. It may be a bit old, but there is a certain charm to it."
