Chapter 6

I looked like I was vibrating and everyone stared at me.

Belle knew what was happening and said "Can you people excuse us for a bit?"

She didn't even wait for a response and dragged me out the room.

She shook me back and forth snapping me out of it. I got to say, that was a bit embarrassing.

We went back into my room.

"So Lightbulb jumped into a portal without knowing what it does?"

They all nodded.

Belle then asked me

"Who exactly are these people?"

"Remember that I told you to watch those random videos about objects that can actually talk?"

"Yeah, but my data ran out and I couldn't watch anymore episodes and I only watched season 1. It was weird."

"These are the objects from season 2 and they somehow got here by a magical portal.'

"Oh I get it now."

The four still stared at us whispering to each other.

"So uh.... wanna talk?"

I asked.

"Yeah! We get to know our new friends!"

Lightbulb excitedly said.

I unlocked my computer and let Belle catch up with Inanimate Insanity.

Me and the Bright Light group sat down on my bed.

"Any questions that you want me to answer?"

"I have one, we read the note on top of the shelf, hope you don't mind."

Test Tube said pointing at the note I kept on my shelf.

I felt like that was an invasion of privacy.

"Anyways, what does the virus mean?"

"A worldwide pandemic that infected millions and killed 1 million people so far."

I said trying to sound calm.

Test Tube made a 'keep going' signal.

"And now to prevent it from spreading we wear masks everyday, we have to wash our hands constantly, 1 meter apart......."

I started listing out things we had to do daily.

After I was done, they looked a bit nervous.

"Are you sure we can make it out alive?"

Paintbrush asked.

"This virus seems very contagious, so if we follow the rules we just might make it out alive."

Test Tube said.

Fan just started to look for a WIFI password.

I sighed and typed in the password for him.

He instantly recorded everything and took pictures everywhere.

We just talked for a bit and heard Belle's voice.

"Bruh why yalls elimination so sad?"

They just shrugged.

We were talking for a while until I realised, my parents were coming home next week, and I'd need a place for them to stay.
My mom hates guests, and my dad would treat strangers like maids.

The only person they're fine with is Belle.

I can't possibly sneak four people in and out of the house without getting caught.
