13} "Did you just say I-messaging?"

Y/n's Pov:

Santa monic that is were Percy said we had to go they than started talking about Pearls that this Lady that claimed she was a messenger of Poseidon gave Percy. It was now June 14, seven days before the summer solstice and we had just got to  Denver. 

We haven't showered sense camp and haven't eaten senses we were with Medusa. "Let's try to contact Chiron with Iris messages" Annabeth said " Did you just say I-messaging We can't use phones" I said "Not Phones we can Iris message" 

"Huh" Percy and I said at the same time "Just follow me" she said as we all walked down a hill to a do it yourself car was that was empty.

"Um what are me doing I know Iris messaging but how." Percy said Grover than took out the spay gun and said "it's 75 cents I only have 2 quarters" Percy than took out his change and gave it to Grover.

" You are going to summon a goddess with a spray gun" I said as Grover turned it on and held it up so it was making an arch and had a mist coming from it.

" Unless you can make a rainbow"  he said soon there was a small rainbow that formed. " O goddess please accept our offering half blood hill" Annabeth said

Nothing happened at first but than a little cloud formed and then an Image of Luke appeared "Luke" Percy said he walk over to us " Hey I am so glad you guys are alright" " uh yeah we were hope to talk to Chiron where is he?" Annabeth said trying to fix her shirt and messy hair

" He is down by the cabin's we are having issues with some campers" he replied " what kind of issues" Grover said " Well-" He was soon cut of by a Car pulling up paying loud music " what is that" He yelled over the music " I will get it Grover come" Annabeth said as she got up and walked over to the car with Grover

who gave Percy the spray gun. " Things are not looking good here Percy word got out and now it's war all over again" Luke yelled I than heard Annabeth yelling with the guy to turn down his music which had decreased after that.

" Chiron will be sad he missed you I wish I could be with you guys but you don't need my help seeing that you already know who stole the master bolt" He said 

" Yeah but Chiron said gods can't steal each other's things directly" Percy said " Yeah but you would have to be invisible" Once Luke realized what he had said we all sat in silence. 

" well not Annabeth she would never do that she is like a sister to me " he said then we heard a scream and the car rolled away from the car was " Well you better go see what that was but are you wearing the shoes?'"

" Uh yes" Percy responded " Really they fit, well have fun in Denver and tell Grover no one will be a pine tree" Than after he said that the mist went away " Honestly I don't miss him" Percy said "Yeah he either" something was suspicions abut Luke but no one else could see it.

" What did Luke say Percy" Annabeth said coming back with Grover "Nothing let's Get something to eat." he said 

A little after the walking we were sitting an a dinner booth. A waiter came up to our table and said " Do you kids have money" " Uh" I looked at Grover and saw him gulp deeply.

She looked at us and said " well?" but just as she said that A guy on a motorcycle came rolling up outside the dinner. 

He had on a black leather jacket and leather pants and how could I forget his sun glasses He came and sat in our booth then gave the waited a wired stare. " On me" then put money on the table she looked scared before he asked 

"Why are you still standing here" She quickly ran away putting in our orders. and He looked at us Annabeth and Grover seamed frighten. " So I heard you guys needed a way to the underworld and I might just have a way for you to get there." 

"Well I don't know Mr. how did you even know that" I said to stranger who sat in front of us "I just do little twerp" he replied and scowl at me which I responded with scowling back "who are you calling a twerp your the one that-" I started but stopped when he lifted his glasses. It was ares and if I would have known that in the beginning I would have never said anything 

"That's right now sit down, be quiet and let the adults talk because frankly I don't like your tone y/n" he said. I gave him one last stare before plopping down from the bench and going outside "y/n come back right now" Percy said but I didn't care and kept walking. "If they don't want my help then I'm going back to camp" I said to myself.

Walking away from the dinner and sitting on the curb I sighed and just sat there thinking about why I couldn't be claimed too after all I was Percy's sister but whatever. Just when I thought I was ok being outside by myself a fury came out of no where and grabbed me making me drop my ring down the drain. "Got you" it said I screamed and screamed until finally I summoned the sword and it hit the fury in the back 

Which caused it to drop me on the ground and before it disappear into dust it said "A god sent me for you little girl". Turning the sword back into a ring Percy, Annabeth, and Grover ran out "Y/n!" He yelled picking me up and letting me cry into his shoulder 

"I told you not to run away this is why" he said looked a him and went to sleep on his shoulder. I didn't want to listen to what he had to say because he didn't understand anything and never would after all he is claimed I am not.
