Me and Meghan worked together the whole class. She was really nice. We let her join our group. We had science together too, as well as Georges and Theodosia. We all went to lunch together, and I met up with JJ, Liza, and Angelica, who were sitting with Martha and Polly. "Wow Philip, you've got a whole friend group already." Angelica said. "Yeah, I met them in my first block. Guys, this is my sister Angie, and my cousins, Liza and JJ. Guys, this is Meghan, Frances, Georges, Theodosia, Lizzie, and Susan." We all talk while we eat.
I have the same math class as Lizzie and Meghan, and the same English class as Frances and Susan. I have art and computer as my electives. Some of the other grades are in my electives as well. I have JJ and Polly in my art class, and Martha and Liza are in my computer class. The school day went by pretty quickly, and we went home.
When we all get home, Aunt Peggy is already there. "JJ, Philip, Liza, Angie!" We all exchange hugs. "We're going out for dinner tonight so be ready by five." Aunt Angelica says, and I nod. I decide to take a shower. I get in the shower and just stand there, liking how the hot water feels. After about 10 minutes, I get out of shower and get dressed. Angelica is also dressed. "Do you like Meghan?" I smile. "Maybe, I mean I don't know." "I think you like her." "Maybe I do." She giggles. "I knew you did." After our parents died, me and Angie always relied on each other. We knew each other better than anyone else in our lives.
Aunt Angelica calls us downstairs, and Liza, JJ, Phil, and Kitty are already there. We arrived at the restaurant shortly after we'd left. "Did you guys make any friends?" Aunt Angelica asks us. "Not yet." Phil sighs. "I met two girls, Michelle and Ophelia." Kitty says. "I started hanging out with this girl named Martha we met this morning at the bus stop." JJ says. "Yeah, I somehow have whole friend group already, actually." I shrug. "Yeah, me and Martha's sister, Polly are friends." Angie says.
The food arrives and we start eating. Stephen Jr. is currently in 4th grade, and they mentioned moving him up to advanced classes. He's a pretty smart kid. Then Aunt Peggy asks why we moved here. I was not prepared for this.
Luckily, Aunt Angelica explains everything so me and Angie don't have to. "That's awful." "Yeah, it was, but things are starting to get better here." I sigh.
The dinner went by, and we went home. Angie comes into my room. "I think I have a crush on Theodosia."
