16 | the day after tomorrow

The fleeting skies, the dwindling rage
Of all things beautiful, peace was in a cage
Every night, throwing things, trying to change
All day chaos reigns and happiness estranged
First time I did, I did it with love
Last time I did, I did without thinking above
Until I came with no questions left to answer
I will be staying here until everything chatters
The fleeting winds, the dwindling pride
Whatever comes first, whatever is our stride
Every day, catching the falling pieces of my heart
All night, I cry my last tears and melancholy start

The time it takes to heal wounds is little
I stood by the bay, hoping things would settle
But fate has its ingenious ways to play
It's all a cruel stunt so that nothing will stay
First time I saw, I saw it with greed
Last time I saw, I saw it with failing need
Until I have no more answers left to question
I will be here, fighting to hold back the regression
The fleeting love, the dwindling fight
All things will fall, all efforts despite
A time will come for me to get rid of my sorrow
I just hope it would be the day after tomorrow

Under no circumstance will I fight for this
Every day, falling pieces of hearts rained on our sheets
And here I am, waiting for everything to subside
There you are, screaming at me until anger changed tide
What else is left to do but finish things
I should stay, like the fool I was, to save something
But you—you make it harder and harder each day
I see no reason why I shouldn't fight for my way
The fleeting stars, the dwindling faith
The wounds to heal and the scars to fade
Nothing is new now that everything is out of order
Until the day after tomorrow, I'll continue to shudder

The mistake I know I made
Down the gutter of silence I cascade
Every day, I find no evidence of sins
But every night, I saw fleeting screams and dying dreams
This is the madness I carry around and round
I walk, dead-eyed, the chatters lost sound
The cup of coffee in my hand tastes bitter
As I think about my decision later
I went home, slept, and woke up anew
Fill my head with fire and try to forget you
I will wait until the troublesome storm is done
Because the day after tomorrow, I'll be long gone

The mistake I know I madeDown the gutter of silence I cascadeEvery day, I find no evidence of sinsBut every night, I saw fleeting screams and dying dreamsThis is the madness I carry around and roundI walk, dead-eyed, the chatters lost soundThe cup...
