There was police outside of the apartment. Turns out that Dave went to go check on Karkat and found him.
The police questioned Edgar but he and Dave ended up being innocent so they where let go "I'm gonna hate whoever did that to my buddy..." Those words sent chills down Edgar's entire body. *does he really mean that he'll hate me?? No I did what I need to..* Edgar started crying
Dave heard him and went to his room "you good?" Edgar was startled "uhm.. yeah I'm fine." "Edgar. You are crying that's not fine." The man in sunglasses sat down next to him and patted his shoulder while Edgar continued crying for the rest of the night. *ICANTSTANDIT.* Edgar turns to Dave "Dave I'm sorry but I love you! I always have! I thought you'd hate me if I told you.." Dave looked at him in shock "really?" He blushed "well honestly I feel the same but I don't think we should date right now considering.. ya know" Edgar smiled "yeah I get it, I'm just happy you feel the same :)" after a few minutes Dave left and Edgar went to bed very happy.
