(Y/n) POV

I laughed, my arms around my stomach and tears pricking my eyes out of laughter. "J-join you?! You're kidding!" I stammered, thinking this was a joke. But he wasn't joking at all. He was serious. I straightened my back, coughing into my fist and composing myself. I looked at him directly in the eye. "No."

"That wasn't a question." "You have no control over me." I glared him, and he glared back. "I kill demons so no one will suffer, and joining you, will just give you advantage." He sighed, dropping his outstretched hand to his side.

"I'll kill them, and lessen our population. In exchange, you'll join me and help me find the blue spider lily, it'll benefit you too." He proposed, and just then I realized he doesn't know that I already conquered the sun.

I placed a finger on my chin and thought about it. "I'll think about it. I'll give you my answers the next time we meet." I waved him off, walking away.

"Next week, at midnight." I heard him say and I hummed in acknowledgement. We parted ways, and I walked around the capital, the red and black scarf still wrapped around my neck.

"Why'd he buy me this though.." I huffed and continued walking.

[Time Skip]

3rd person POV

"Shinobu-chan!" The said female turned her head towards the door that opened and her eyes made contact with (e/c) irises, making her smile.

"(Y/n)-chan, what brings you to my estate?" The fellow pillar asked, continuing to work on a medicine. "Oh, I just wanted to see that sample you had?" "What sample?" The insect pillar tilted her head. After a few seconds, she finally knew what she meant.

"Oh! It's by the shelf right there." She pointed towards her shelf that was filled with various bottles of medicine, labels and ingredients. "Thanks!" (Y/n) thanked her and proceeded to walk towards the shelf, looking for it and moving some things out of the way.

(Y/n) and Shinobu were great friends. (Y/n) may be a demon, but after some time of going on missions together and talking, Shinobu eventually warmed up to her and became friends.

"What are you going to do with that, (Y/n)-chan?" Shinobu asked, curious about what her friend was going to do. "Oh, don't worry! I'll return this to you, I'll just make something similar to this and try to make it more effective!" (Y/n) grinned and the other female nodded, going back to what she was doing.

(Y/n) left Shinobu's estate and went to her own, the bottle of liquid still in hand. She went straight to her room and inspected it, then grabbing some ingredients from her desk.

"How do I do this..." she removed the cap of the bottle from Shinobu's shelf and backed away immediately after getting a whiff of its smell. 'I'm an idiot!' She scolded herself mentally and placed the cap back on, not wanting anymore of the smell of Wisteria flowers.

She went to the bathroom and looked into the mirror. Not much has changed, but the tips of her hair had turned white. 'Shinobu, you genius! This is effective!' She smiled widely and went back to her room, now working on her own mixture of poison, doing her best to make it more effective than the one she borrowed and ofcourse, not breathing it in.

(Y/n) POV

The next day, I went back to Shinobu's estate and returned the bottle of poison. "Thank you, Shinobu-chan!" "You're welcome, (Y/n)-chan!" I went on my day, doing whatever I wanted to do since I had no mission yet, and I wanted to relax today.

"CAW! CAW! MISSION! MISSION!"

'I guess lady luck isn't on my side today...' I heaved a sigh, rubbing my nape and looking up at the flying crow that kept quacking above my head.

"What is it, Caw?" Yes. That's what I named him. He kept repeating 'caw', so I named him Caw.

[Time Skip after the mission. :)]

I walked to my estate after fighting a strong demon. He wasn't part of the upper nor lower moons, but he was strong. The wounds I had received earlier from the him had already disappeared and healed, my ripped clothes and the blood stains on it being the only evidence that I was wounded.

I was careful with my blood though. If a demon were to even have the slightest of taste of it, they would conquer the sun and it'd be harder to kill them. I sighed and cleaned myself up, putting on a new clean uniform.

Before I could do my own thing again, Caw dived into my room from the window, hitting the ground and flying back up again.

"CAW! CAW! UBUYASHIKI-SAMA HAS REQUESTED THE PRESENCE OF ALL PILLARS FOR A MEETING!"
