"Hey guys!" Avery greeted excitedly, as she ushered Stella and her four friends into her house.

"Hey Aves!" Stella replied, giving the girl a quick smile before leading her friends further into the house.

She scanned her eyes around the group of teens, trying to find her boyfriend. When she couldn't spot him, she guessed that he hadn't arrived yet and decided to take a seat on the sofa. All four of her friends sat down next to her.

Charlie, Louis and Alexa were all in deep conversation. Emily was texting someone. Stella guessed it was the guy that Emily had a crush on. Though she didn't know who it was, she was happy for Emily. And Stella was just waiting patiently for her boyfriend to walk through the door. She was completely silent and hadn't taken her eyes of the door for more than a minute.

"Hey Stel?" Alexa said, taking Stella by surprise. Stella quickly turned her head towards her. "Where in the fuck is your boyfriend?"

"Honestly, I have no idea. I tried texting him but he hasn't replied." Stella sighed, then turned her eyes back to the door. No one had walked through it for almost half an hour.

"Hey uh guys, I'm gonna go use the bathroom." Emily said, standing up abruptly and then walking up the stairs towards the bathroom.

"Do any of you have any idea who she was texting?" Alexa asked. Both Louis and Charlie shook their heads.

Stella shrugged, "I'm not sure but I think it's the guy she likes. I reckon that's why she ran upstairs, she's going to meet him." Stella finished her sentence with a smirk.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Charlie cut in. "Emily likes someone?! How did I not know this?"

Alexa chuckled, "We played truth or dare the other night, at Stella's house. That's when Emily told us, but she wouldn't tell us who the guy she likes is."

"That sounds a bit sus don't you think? I mean you guys are her best friends, why wouldn't she tell you?" Charlie asked.

"Charlie you think everything and everyone is sus." Stella said with a small chuckle. Then she stood up from the sofa, "I just realised I haven't checked upstairs for Jessie yet, I'll be back soon!"

"Okay." Alexa replied with a smile, Stella took that as her que to leave. She quickly ran up the stairs.

The first door she opened, Stella saw a sight she definitely did not want to see. She said a very quick sorry to the couple before quickly shutting the door and trying to erase the memory from her mind.

The other rooms weren't much different and once she reached the last door, Stella was starting to lose hope. Maybe her boyfriend had just decided not to show.

On the door, there was a sign that read 'stay out!' written in all caps. Against her better judgement, Stella decided to defy the sign. She let a small screech when she saw Emily and Jessie in what seemed like the middle of a make-out session.

At the sound of Stella's screech, Jessie quickly pushed Emily off of him.

"Stella!" He said, his voice squeaky. "It's not what it looks like!"

Stella's eyes started to fill with tears as Emily said, "Actually, it's exactly what it looks like." A smug look plastered on her face.

"Emily? What the fuck?!" She shouted, Stella didn't know who she should be more mad at. Her boyfriend, or the girl she'd been best friends with since kindergarten.

"What? Jessie doesn't love you honey, he loves me." Emily said, a smirk forming on her face as  Stella turned on the ball of her foot and quickly ran back downstairs.

All three of her friends stood up abruptly at the sight of Stella crying.

"Stella? What happened?!" Alexa asked, running to her best friend and engulfing her in a hug.

"Jessie... H-he cheated on me... With Emily!" Stella said in between sobs.

Alexa took a quick glance around at all the teens who all had their eyes on Stella.

"Come on Stel, let's go. You can stay over at mine." Alexa said, leading Stella out of the house.

Before exiting, Alexa quickly turned to Charlie and Louis and mouthed, 'Text me!'. Then she turned back around and shut the door behind her.
