My youngest child suggested that I make fan art, one thing led to another, and I ended up here. Hopefully this isn't too weird. My goal was not only to work on some ideas that have been in my head but to also to try to share some life experiences with an audience that might find them useful.
Constructive criticism is welcome. Years ago I did some writing for a LARP and some role-playing games, but this is the first time I've done a creative exercise like this. I learned a bunch from the process and I plan to keep adding to this.

This story is dedicated to my grandparents. They have been gone for a long time now and I still miss them. Writing this got me thinking about them a whole bunch.
