The group moved into the living room and Bill looked around. "Well, obviously grandpa gets the chair, but what about us?"
Louis got onto the couch and pulled Pina down. "You get the floor."
The tiger huffed. "That's specist. Just cuz we're carnivores, jeez."
Louis laughed. "You can't even say that with a straight face."
Bill snickered. "Yeah, I know." He looked at Legosi. "Well?"
"Let me get some blankets and pillows. You still have some in the closet, right grandpa?"
Gosha nodded. "I do." The lizard was currently rifling through some VHS tapes. "Anything you boys in the mood for?"
Louis looked at Pina. "Please don't tell me you're into horror movies..."
Pina made a non-committal hand gesture. "Can't say I've watched too many movies I was super into in general."
"You guys are lame," Bill commented.
Pina looked over to him. "I don't think Gosha has any anime movies, Billy, so what would be your second pick?"
"Anime isn't the only thing I like," Bill scoffed. "I like all kinds of movies."
"What's your favorite genre, Legosi?" Louis asked.
Legosi returned with his arms full of blankets and pillows. "I like dramas or fantasy. Kind of hard to nail it down."
"I like mysteries or action films," Louis said. "I get too invested."
"Drama and mystery usually go hand in hand," Gosha pointed out. "I think I have a few of those in mind..."
Legosi unceremoniously dropped all his stuff on the ground and started to spread it out in front of the couch.
"So, a mystery!" Louis grinned and sat back on the rather comfortable couch.
"Oh, but that means we have to pay attention," Pina complained.
Bill raised a brow. "Plan on making out with Lou the whole time or something?"
"Here and there. Nothing too involved with grandpa here. But I like talking too and stuff."
Legosi kneeled down on the floor, trying to make Bill and his space as comfy as possible. "Cuddling and watching a movie isn't too hard. You just have to find a balance. I think me and Louis got it down pretty well with all the stuff we watch."
The buck made a sound of agreement. "Don't worry, I'll pay plenty of attention to you," he said to Pina.
"Honestly, my favorite genre of movie is 'bad', because I like to make fun of them," the sheep admitted.
Gosha turned to him and laughed. "Well, the movie I just picked is far from bad, so sorry for that." He waved the box in the air. "This was me and my pal's favorite when we were younger."
"What pal?" Bill raised a brow.
"Oh, just a guy I knew years ago. He was my best friend." Gosha waved his hand as if it would make the tiger forget about the subject. "Anyway, this is an old noir film from the west, so it has drama and mystery in spades."
Louis knew he was talking about Yahya but he didn't push. "I haven't really delved into the realm of noir films. I'm interested, but you might have to let me borrow it considering..." He nudged the sheep.
"Oh, you could probably find it on the internet. You guys don't have a VCR, after all." Gosha inserted the tape and walked over to turn off the lights.
Pina moved more to fit on Louis' lap. "My beautiful horns are gonna block the screen. Not sorry."
