"How is this possible? Karn is a Kaunteya?" Duryodhan exclaimed with shock as he tried to digest the truth.
Kunti stood there firm nodding to.his question before the entire Raj sabha.

Mahamahim Bheesm had a blank face with no.change in his expressions. Anyone could know looking at his face that he was already aware of the matter. He indeed knew the truth. He had recognized Karn the moment he saw him. He had much earlier overheard Kunti's conversation with her maid Priyamvada. He didnt mean to hear them but when he heard about her first born baby he was shocked beyond wits. He tried his best to look for the baby but then the pandavas were born and he stopped his search. Then all of a sudden Karn entered the fighting arena and surprised everyone with his amazing archery skills. Seeing his armour and looking at Kunti's expressions bheesm had figured out that Karn was indeed the jyesth pandav. He didnt say anything but he always had a soft corner for Radheye.

Dhritarashtra ,Vidur and the other courtiers were shocked by the revelation. Shakuni smirked with happiness as he found another way to oust the pandavas from Hastinapur.

"This is a grave sin Maharaj . Kunti has committed a big sin by beating an illegitimate child." Shakuni cried .
"Moreover Kunti you have tried to murder your son by abandoning him in the waters of Ganga. This is offensive. " Dhriyarashtra cried.
Kunti couldn't oppose as his words made sense. She.stood.there without uttering a single word. Karn too had no word to say when they called him illegitimate.
"This Karn with his mother and brothers should be ousted from the kingdom." Shakuni cries viciously.
"Be quiet Gandharraj. Dont forget you are a guest in this kingdom and you have no right to oust a family member . This is Kunti's house and no one can oust her from here. Moreover Katn is no ordinary child.  He is the blessing of Suryanarayan. How can we insult him and his divinity in this manner. Moreover Ved says, the greatest sage of all time is also an illegitimate child then. He was the son of an unmarried mother and forget forget that his maata was none other than maata satyavati." Bheesm cried supporting Karn.
"Tatshree you are insulting my grand mother." Dhritarashtra cried.
"No putra Dhritarashtra . Maata Satyavati was like mother. I respect her a lot and I dont blame her for having Ved vyas . Similarly you cant blame Kunti for having Karn.
After a lot of discussion Dhritarashtra finally agreed to accept Karn.
"I accept Karn as a part of the Kuru family. " he cried.
Kunti's happiness knew no bounds. She was so happy that her eldest din was accepted by everyone.
"Very well then . I am extremely happy . I want to celebrate this happiness . Thus I invite the Pandavas for a game of dice in the evening." Mamashree Shakuni cried.
The pandavas looked suspiciously at Gandharraj. They had not expected such sweet words from him.
"I don't play dice .moreover I have some administrative work in Anga. But my brothers will definitely attend this evening and participate in this game being a part of the celebration " karn cried.
The Pandavas nodded politely.

"What nonsense is this mamashree? You are celebrating the victory of the Pandavas!" Duryodhan growled with frustration.
"You are an idiot. You dont know what plans I have made for this evening." Shakuni cried smirking.

"Tonight is the night which will change the course of history forever. Tonight is the night everything will change. Tonight is the night of the most disastrous plot ever. Tonight is the night I was fearing the most Parvati " mahadev cried.
Krishna nodded in agreement to mahadev.
"Isnt there a way things canchsnge?" Parvati cried dreading the night.
"No sister Parvati. This is destiny and no one can change destiny.

"I am leaving for Anga . I will reach Hastinspur by tomorrow morning after completing my task. Niysti wishes yo stay with Draupadi so I M leaving her here under you all' responsibility.  Yudhisthir I give you the entire responsibility in my absence
You the jyesth pandav for tonight. Niyato is also under your protection and responsibility. " katn cried as he started his journey for Anga.
Hardly had he known what was to happen that night in the dyut sabha!
