Demisexual (internet's definition): Demisexuals are characterized by a lack of sexual attraction toward any person unless they become deeply emotionally or romantically connected with a specific person or persons. The level of connection it takes for sexual desire to form is dependent on how close the relationship is rather than initial attraction. It is an orientation that is not chosen.

Ok, so this is a very interesting, and a bit confusing topic. Let's start off by explaining what the definition had said, in more easier terms. So, Demisexuals, or Demi for short are humans that will not give out emotional, romantic feelings towards another person. Unless they truly desire a certain person. Which can also be any gender. Understand now? I hope so. Anyway, Demisexuals. I had also recently discovered these walking creatures by my awesome bisexual neighbor. Who is also pretty much my best friend. She is dating a girl Demi, and I'm very happy for her. Now my opinions on this? Well, this is another one of those sexuals that people think isn't real. But when you think about it, it seems that people think that none are real. A myth about demisexuality is that it's fake. "Demisexual" is just a word for a certain pattern of attraction which already occurs. There is nothing fake about it. The experiences of demisexuals are real, and they just happen to have a word which functions as a shorthand for describing those experiences (which is what words do, after all). Demisexuals find their pattern of attraction significantly different enough from that of most people that they use a word to describe it. This pisses me off (like everything else) that this isn't known very well. Cause even I didn't know what it was (about 60 hours ago).
