Dewin walked down to the banks of the river, the path continuing on the other side. The water looked shallow and slow moving.
Dewin was rather sure of himself that he could easily get across.
But looks can be deceiving. The instant he stepped into the river, the water took him under and carried him away. It didn't take long before he breathed his last breath.
