They wake up the next morning from the sound of William shouting "dadda."

Louis nuzzles his nose in the back of Harry's neck for a second before he removes his arm around his torso and rolls to his back. Harry turns around with a shy smile.
"Good morning."

"Good morning." Louis answers, equally shy.

They're both thinking about their kiss last night but neither of them is brave enough to bring it up or make another move.
"Daddaaaaa!"

"I'll get him." Harry grins and gets up from the bed.

Louis has to take a wee so he jumps towards the bathroom while Harry disappears into the nursery.

Harry comes back with William in his arms just as Louis gets out of the bathroom. They stop in the middle of the room and look at each other with pink cheeks, frozen in place. William wiggles out of Harry's embrace and he puts him down on the floor.

Harry takes a precarious step closer towards Louis and he immediately meets him halfway. They gaze into each other's eyes with a smile on their lips and Louis cups Harry's cheek and leans in.
"Morning breath." Harry hurries to say.

"I don't care. You?" Louis asks as he stops with his lips almost touching Harrys.

"No." Harry mumbles and closes the distance between them.

They share a soft kiss with their lips closed. William tugs on Louis's sweats and breaks them apart.
"Lou Lou." He whines.

Louis looks down at him with a surprised laugh. He reaches down to pick him up and William giggles and claps his hands in excitement.

"He called me Lou Lou." Louis grins and looks over at Harry just to find him staring over his shoulder with wrinkled eyebrows.
"What's wrong?"

Harry walks past him to his dresser and starts to lift photo frames like he's searching for something.
"My parent's wedding rings, they're not here!" He says upset.

"Oh, maybe they fell behind the dresser." Louis suggests.

Harry moves it and looks behind it. He opens every drawer and searches them frantically. When he can't find them he turns around and glares at Louis.
"Just give them back."

Louis stares at him in disbelief.
"You think I took them? I didn't!"

"The first thing you did was trying to rob me. I can't believe I was so stupid to let you stay in my home. Just give them back! They belonged to my parents." Harry says accusingly.

Louis just stares at him with his mouth open.
"That was before this, us. I wouldn't do that to you, Harry."

"Well excuse me for thinking that's hard to believe." Harry snorts and takes William from him.

Louis just stares at him, looking hurt and absolutely devastated. He picks up his crutches and starts to leave the room.
"Don't run off and pout like a child! Just give them back! I don't know you anymore! How could you do this to me." Harry yells at him.

Louis turns around to look at him. He has tears in his eyes.
"Clearly you don't know me if you think that I took them."

"Well, you stealing from me is the reason we're in this situation." Harry snorts.

"Go to hell." Louis answers and jumps off.

"Right back at ya!" Harry shouts back before he bursts out crying and hugs William for comfort.

He hears a door slam and a couple of seconds later Liam, Zayn, and Niall come running into his room.
"What's going on?" Liam asks.

"Louis took my parent's wedding rings." Harry sobs.

"What? Are you sure? Why would he do that?" Zayn asks.

"I don't know. Have you all forgotten about how he ended up here in the first place?" Harry says broken heartedly.

"But that was before..." Niall says but interrupts himself before he says too much.

"Before what?" Harry asks.

"Never mind. Let's just look for them, okay? We'll turn the house upside down." Niall says and they all start looking.

Louis is sitting on his bed bawling his eyes out. He feels humiliated. Absolutely heartbroken. He can't believe Harry would accuse him of stealing. Or maybe it's not strange at all considering he tried to rob him the first thing but the fact that he didn't give it a second thought before he immediately jumped on the conclusion hurts most of all. He should have learned by now that you don't get second chances in life. He thought this time would be different.

He can't stay here, that's for sure. Harry's gonna kick him out anyway so he rather just leave before he calls the police on him. He stands up with a sigh and takes a look around the room. He's gonna miss it. Most of all he's gonna miss Harry and William. He has grown fond of the little toddler.

He leaves everything behind except the clothes on his body and the crutches. He needs them. He opens the door and checks the hallway. It's empty, but he can hear them all upstairs. He sneaks towards the staircase as fast as he can. He doesn't want to face any of them.

As he reaches the first step a familiar voice makes him turn around.
"Lou Lou."

He looks down on William who is smiling brightly at him and his heart shatters into a million pieces. He leans down to hug him and he can feel tears burning behind his eyes. He kisses the top of his head.
"Bye Boobear. Go find Dadda."

William runs off and he hurries down the stairs and out of the front door. He jumps down the driveway and opens the front gate. He turns around one last time to look at the mansion and he starts to go cry again before he walks down the street, leaving it all behind.

"I found them!" Liam shouts from Williams's nursery and Harry comes running in with Niall and Zayn close behind.

"What? Where?" Harry asks completely baffled.

"In this pile of stuffed animals. William must have gotten a hold of them somehow." Liam smiles.

Harry turns pale.
"Oh no. Louis! What have I done?"

He runs to Louis's room and bangs on the door.
"I'm so sorry Louis! Please forgive me."

He opens the door to find the room empty. He runs downstairs and looks for him but he's nowhere to be found. Harry turns to the boys as they entered the kitchen.
"He left." He almost whispers and breaks down crying.
