"Ms.Wright?"
A woman in her 40s stood up. A grey streak running through her hair.
"Yes, that's me."
The doctor nodded his head.
"Please come with me."
They walked into a dimly lit room. A screen in the middle of the wall. A picture of a brain with an imprint in it. The imprint of a circle with an x through it.
Y/ns mother let out a cry.
"What the hell did you do to my daughter!" She cried.
The doctor shook his head.
"Ma'am we haven't done a thing."
She stopped and froze. Something clicked in her head.
"Is there anything you can do?" He shook his head.
"Not at the moment.im sorry. She's free to go home. If we find anything we'll find you."
She nodded her head and went to grab her daughter.

The car ride home was quiet. Y/ns mother was quiet. A scowl on her face.
"Mom?"
The scowl went away and the smile took its place. "Yes, hun?"

"I'm sorry. I must've eaten something bad. I didn't mean to."
Her mother looked out the window as she was driving. A hand went to her daughter's hand.
"No honey. It has nothing to do with you. Something your father... Something with your dad's side."
Y/n nodded her head.
"I'm staying home for the week. To help you."
"Mom no it's ok."

Her mother shook her head.
"Y/n don't argue with me right now."
She said as they pulled into the driveway.

"I'm going to lay down mom."
Y/n said as she got out of the car.
Her mom nodded her head and stayed in the car.

A crash and some yelling woke y/n up.
She rushed down the stairs. Grabbing a bat on the way.
Her mother wasn't anywhere.
She could hear her voice.
"Don't you take her away from me to your piece of shit!"
Y/ns mother yelled at the woods.
Tears were streaming down her face.
"Mom?"
Y/n yelled as she walked outside. The moonlight making a direct path to her mother.
"Y/n No! Go back inside. He'll take you away from me too!"
Y/n kept walking to her.
"Mom, have you been drinking?"

"Y/n No!"
She cried louder.
Y/n got close enough the grab her mom.
"Mom nothing is going to take me. Calm down please!"

Her mother wrapped her arms around her. Shaking.
"We need to get inside now."
"Mom I can smell the beer on your breath."
Y/n wrapped her arm around her mom when the ground shook.
Her mom froze.
"Y/n inside now."
"Mom what?"
The ground began to open up, inch by inch.
Y/n screamed and looked around.
She hated not living near anyone.
"Mom we need to get in the car."
A red looking figure came out of the ground.
"Verum est"
It cried. Her mother tore y/n off her body. She muttered something before slamming her foot on the ground the treed behind the creature folded towards it. Locking it into place.
Y/ns mom grabbed her hand and ran inside.
"Mom what the hell!"
Y/n followed her upstairs.
Her mom rummaged through her closet and pulled out a bag. She looked inside it and handed it to her daughter.
"Y/n listen closely to me. Take this into the woods. Run until you can't anymore. You'll know you're there when you get a feeling. He'll come and find you. The bag is full of things you'll need. The book that's in here. Don't open it until you need to."
At this point, y/n had tears in her eyes.
"Mom, what are you talking about!"
The wall had a circle of sparks form. The creature walked into the house. A smile on its face.
"Trying to save her?"
Her mother turned to it. She moved her hands around and said a phrase, a lot of wind came and tried to push it through. The thing simply smiled and moved its hand. A fire in the form of a stick flew and went through her mother's stomach. She coughed up blood. She turned to look at y/n and smiled.
"I love you. " It smashed her head. Y/n screamed and reached for her mom. But stopped herself. It began walking towards y/n. It grabbed her neck.
"Such a pretty little thing."
It mumbled.
"Shame."
Something snapped inside y/n and she tilt her head back and screamed. The thing went flying. The house began falling apart.
"Ah, we will meet again child."
Leaving y/n in the rubble left behind.
