Venti's POV

As I played a tune with my Lyre in front of an audience, Aether and Paimon had showed up, joining in the crowed to watch. 

I was performing in front of my statue in Mondstadt. 

People had cheered and paid for watching my performance once I finished. 

"That was great." Aether said softly, walking up to me while smiling sweetly. 

"Thanks..." I said, smiling as I blushed. 

Paimon smiled, despite not liking me very much. 

"Well, what's your plans for today?" I asked them. 

Aether shrugged. "I was hoping we could hangout today."

My heart skipped a beat. "Oh!" 

He smiled. "If you want?" 

I nodded a little too quickly. "Yes!" 

He chuckled. "Okay! What do you want to do?" 

I bit my lip as I thought about what we could do. "Do you... want to fight something? I'm great support!" 

He exchanged glances with Paimon. "Alright... we do need help to fight some Fatui." 

I smiled. "Okay! Lead the way." 

I followed Aether and Paimon, listening to their conversations about past battles. 

"Wow, you two fight a lot." I said. 

Aether laughed. "No. I fight a lot. Paimon just watches." 

She gaped at him. "What?! That is so untrue!" 

He shook his head no at me. 

"Ugh! You're making me seem lazy!" 

Aether and I laughed together. "Don't worry, Paimon. You help out with other things, and that's okay." 

She turned away and pouted. 

I smiled as Aether changed his position to beside me. 

"How are you?" He asked.

"I'm good... how are you?" 

"Good." 

I rubbed my arm awkwardly as I looked away, looking at an apple tree, wishing I had an apple now. 

"Hey... don't you have wings?" He asked me. 

Paimon looked at me with interest. 

"Y-Yeah... but I don't use them." 

Paimon's eyes widened. "WHY NOT?!" 

I giggled. "What if someone sees? My cover will be blown." 

Aether smiled. "Don't worry, no one is around. Come on, show us." 

I blushed hard. "I-I really don't t-think I should..." 

Panic started to rise in me as I realized just how naked I would be if I showed them... in front of Aether...

"Please?" Paimon begged, and Aether joined in, jokingly pouting. 

I sighed, stopping. "Fine..." 

They stood there watching with amusement. 

Wind blew around me, and I shut my eyes as I turned into my 'god' form. I was wearing my VERY short white shorts, with my crop top that was also white. I had my white sock on, and no shoes. My huge white angel wings spread out behind me, and I had my hood on as shelter from eyes that weren't Aether's and Paimon's. 

Aether turned beat red, his eyes wide open with his mouth agape. His eyes travelled across my body "Woah..." 

I blushed furiously as both stared at me in awe. 

Paimon turned to Aether, then looked down, her eyes widening. "Um... Aether, you..." 

Me and Aether both looked down, noticing his erection. 

My face turned a whole new shade of red. 

His eyes widened awkwardly. "I-I'm... I'm so sorry... I... I should g-go..." He quickly walked away, his hands clenched as he did so. 

Paimon rubbed her arm awkwardly. "That was..." 

"Awkward..." I finished for her. "Why did he... by me..." 

She looked at Aether who was still walking away. "How have you not realized it yet?" 

I looked at her confused. "What?" 

"He likes you!" She said, snapping her head to me. 

My eyes widened. "He... does?" 

She nodded, smiling. "You do too, don't you?" 

I smiled, laughing awkwardly. "Yes..." 

"Then go get em." She said. "But not looking like that."

I giggled, looking down at myself. "Fair." 

I changed back to my usual self, smiling at her one last time before running after Aether. 

I found Aether sitting on my statues' hands. 

"Aether...?" I asked behind him. 

He tensed. "I'm sorry... you just... you just looked very good..." 

I smiled, softly touching his shoulder. "Thank you... don't be embarrassed. I'm flattered." 

He moved over so I could sit next to him. "We're friends... I got like that, with my friend..." 

"You mean your crush, right?" I asked cheekily. 

He looked at me shocked. "No... did Paimon..."

I smiled. "Yes, she did." 

He turned away and shook his head. "Of course she did..." 

I grabbed his hand, holding it softly. "Aether... I like you too." 

His eyes met mine, and he smiled. "You do?" 

"Yeah." I said, blushing. 

He shut his eyes and blushed. "Thank god..." 

I giggled, watching as he stared into my eyes. 

"Can I...?" He asked, caressing my cheek. 

"Yes..." I breathed, blushing hard.

He leaned in, connecting our lips softly. We shared our first kiss together, and after that, many more. We spent years and years together, sharing a life that I never wanted to let go... though I had too, because I'm immortal, and he isn't.
